For real. Shudder to think what this dude’s life must look like if he has the time to seek out and live on opposing team’s boards primarily because they thought they would beat a -28 spread.

It's never everybody.....every board has its share of crap talkers. NIU's board does and people here made it sound like our entire fan base was super cocky. Whatever. That's just the deal...you talk crap you have to handle the repercussions. Problem is the crap talkers run and hide when it's time to face the music.

The Rudy pic is hilarious......

Or....just hear me out....I could come over here and see how upset the big mouth's are who thought NIIU was a joke. This will get boring soon enough. But the victory will live on forever.

I think you are way overestimating the amount of thought people here give to the NIU fan base.

Pretty much exactly what I expect from NIU fans after being near your band and other fans.

I especially loved the subtle racism he was showing towards one of our players.

As the one guy stated often in my section this was your Super Bowl. Congrats.

Why are some people saying Freeman left a TO in his pocket? They were out of TOs because he wasted one early in the 2nd half. That's why he chose to take the 10 sec run off on the last NIU drive because he wanted to use his last TO after 3rd down. Which was still dumb.

I don't want to be a dick but I lived in sycamore which is the town next to DeKalb. I'm from Illinois I went to jca. NIU might be the easiest school to get into in the country they are begging people to go there. You guys got a good win and have had success over the years but your university isn't something to brag about

I'm glad Freeman is using the game film as motivation. He can use it every game for the next ten years.

I'd personally like to figure out a way to get over it though. A National Championship should work.

Very smart coaching this year to keep reminding the team of how it felt losing to NIU. It’s great motivation for the players to do whatever it takes to not feel that way again this season. It empowers the players. Unfortunately for us fans, rehashing the loss doesn’t provide us with much motivation because there is little we can do to make sure we don’t feel that way again.
