Does anyone else often see their coach level up in dynasty and not receive coins? This happens like half the time for me. Like the progress bar will go to a new level, I will see the “+10” pop up near the bar, and then I’ll go to the main dynasty page and have the same amount or coins as before. Which feels like a pretty major bug (severely limiting in filling out your skill tree) but I don’t see many (if any) talking about it.

Okay here's some bullshit. I just came back to win a rivalry in the last 30 seconds in my dynasty. I even get the ball back and kneel out the clock.

Final score reads 33-30 THEM. It even shows me having scored last BUT it says they scored a touchdown of mine and got the 2 point conversion when I'M the fucking one who did that. WTF.

This was also my big recruiting weekend and the game has completely fucked me. God this shit was inexcusable when you wouldn't get an overtime possession in 14. It's now ten years later and the game is just as buggy.

That was the WORST. Playing as an OC, go into an OT game, and the defensive sim screws up the possessions, cheats you out of your chance to match/win, and you lose automatically. Amazed they didn’t fix stuff like that. Hopefully they can patch it, since they never did in ‘14.

I was struggling with some new mechanics, so went into the training/drills… the passing drills are hard to score points based on the system, but I found the option and rushing drills to be very helpful.

Gonna be doing some of the defensive drills in my free time tonight so I can try and master the switch stick

-rearranged my living room so I'm sitting closer to the tv... and it's still not right.
-ignored and then screamed at my puppies for distracting me.
-sat in front of the tv for hours last night instead of drinking bourbon by the fire pit.
-ate chicken nuggets from the microwave instead of grilling a steak.

To top it all, I'm not really having that much fun yet.



I've reverted back to my early 20's and will soon be looking to score some cocaine.

Yes they’re amazing!! I must have played those drills in the Madden with Shaun Alexander on the cover for hundreds of hours.

They took it even further in this game.

You switch it in team settings at the screen where you select teams, they're listed alphabetically

That's pretty crazy. Only thing that's happened to me that was "game ruining" was when I was up 49-13 with 5 minutes left in a game and selected to "super sim" the rest of the game. Told the game I wanted to play any crucial moments. Suddenly get the alert that OT has started.... Apparently nothing notable happened while the other team put up 36 points in 5 minutes.

Okay. Good news. I exit the game and now it has the proper score 36-33 ME. Why did it say 33-30 them and had them with the 40 yd touchdown pass and successful two point conversion in the stats when I was the one who did that?

I played a whole season and it showed I beat Navy by 10. Never played Navy...lol. Also CU at 11-1 and #2 overall with a bye is ridiculous.

I somehow was like 1-4 at Ball State and finished the season 8-5 and MAC champs as OC. I then got hired as the HC of Memphis where right now I'm 5-0 and #8 in the country after beating Arkansas and Ole Miss. I feel like this should be harder but I'm afraid if I up a skill level it will go from me doing what I want offensively to just pain. It's like they don't know how to make things competitive without the computer playing like super humans.

Also as many others have said, why the fuck would you take out a good way to sub players after creating this whole new wear and tear system? Brain dead.

I've been playing on varsity and winning vs the cpu (play now only). Home games are a breeze, but road games have felt pretty realistic with momentum shifts, with me eventually winning. Games have been vs good, but not great teams that aren't on our schedule. Penn St, Arizona St, Arkansas, TCU, BYU, etc.

White Out game vs Penn St had me falling behind early, coming back to take the lead in the 3rd, Penn St going ahead with 2 minutes left, and me winning on the last drive. Probably the most enjoyable game I've had yet.


I've been experimenting on 8-12 min quarters with accelerated clock to 15 seconds trying to find the right time limit for realistic stats.
I won't start my official Notre Dame Dynasty until there's a patch (or two) released, I find the perfect quarter times, maybe someone posts the perfect sliders, and I settle on a playbook.
It will definitely be on All-American or higher setting though.

This is why I'll never play online.
I know I'm not very good and there's too many people that know the glitches/cheats/etc. I've put a lot of time into the game this weekend, but it's unsustainable. I'll eventually be in the 4-8 hours a week range and that will get me killed vs human players.

Running the ball doesn't seem all that much harder on All-American. Honestly seems pretty simple to just get the numbers you want in the box and run. The computer tends to line up in specific ways to specific formations depending on their defensive playbooks just like in the past so once you find the plays that tend to work/how to get out of plays if they change the box on you, it's pretty easy.

Passing changes immediately when you switch between the two. CPU pass rush goes up significantly as does their linebackers sudden ability to high point your throw and pick it off (superman linebackers are back baby!). And you will be punished every damn time if a defender can touch the ball. Safety? Pick. Corner? Pick. Linebacker? Pick. Defensive lineman? You bet. Pick.

Kicking the ball also becomes near impossible if you don't have a good kicker. I missed two kicks within twenty despite aiming correctly and nailing it in the green. Both went left.

Also the opposing team starts playing wildly differently in the last two minutes of a game when down. I get it -- situation football -- but it's essentially hyper aggressive so they can really disrupt the run but now because of the increased pass defense they stick to your WRs like glue even when they have no help in any part of the field. Imagine a zero blitz but your wideouts pretty much only have a small chance to get free. It's kinda ridiculous.

I won again but the game was more difficult than it should have been. Being stopped in the red zone twice and coming away with nothing does that to you. I'll also admit that this was done without playing defense as that's how I'm trying to play this dynasty. Pretty worried how bad that would have looked.

So long story short, it seems like Varsity is TOO easy and All-American is TOO hard. The jump between those skill levels just seems over the top. I don't think they know how to make the game more difficult without making passing the ball very difficult because they cannot get the defense to adjust during the game to repeated user decisions.

I will also add that once people figure the proper sliders, it will hopefully get better but it's just funny how so little has changed.
