Just curious, but does it matter if it was just glass that hit his ear?
He was still shot at.

Dem's grasping at straws. All college aged kids have the same political beliefs as their parents. Not sure what Mom and Dad having Trump signs in their yard has to say about their son's political leanings. The biggest clue we have thus far is that he donated to Progressive Turnout Project PAC. Don't know what percent of 20 year olds make donations to any political organization, but I'd bet it's single digits.

Just additional data points. He donated in 2021 to act blue - a classmate saying he was conservative and neighbors talking about the Trump sign's seem to indicate that he certainly had some recent conservative feelings combined with being a registered republican.

Of course it would be nice to see his manifesto/web history type stuff.

Don't think it's clear either way that he was some sort of democrat or republican yet.

If the Democrats are smart they will make this about gun violence writ large. This whole event kinda throws a wet blanket on the idea that you just need more good guys/teachers/service animals or whatever with guns and that will solve the issue.

John Lennon's gunman was a huge Lennon fan.

There's just no telling. But the more famous and popular or infamous you are, the more people are going to have bizarre thoughts and feelings about you.

It’s kinda crazy how two of our major foreign adversaries have a preferred candidate:
1. Iran wants Biden because Biden is soft on Iran and supports Hamas too much vs Israel.
2. Russia wants Trump because he and his VP are vocally against supporting Ukraine whereas Biden has given tons of $$.

Great point. Imagine if the bad guy was not shot and killed by a good guy… but Trump cut his ear on glass from the shot directed at someone else apparently… 🤷

Listened to the radio in the car and the guy said they need to look into the shooters ties with the guy that got killed. Trump may have just been in the way. Also said Trump was saying fuck you instead of fight. I never call in to radio shows but man I was tempted. The lunacy.

I would say hiring some random 20 year old kid who is a terrible shot to somehow get on a rooftop in sight of everyone around would be too stupid of a plan to possibly be conceivable. But then you look at **gestures wildly at everything the DNC does**.

Right.

A 20 year old who was apparently so bad of a shot he didn’t make the shooting club at his high school managed to kill one person, injure three others and almost kill a presidential candidate all of whom were surrounded by armed security and counter snipers before he was taken out.

Good thing he didn’t have a bump stock.
