Doesn’t want to play school and will go play at one of the big box stores.

Mike Brown needs to get his shit together. 2025 receiver group is just okay. Pretty sure I saw some tumbleweeds for the 2026 group.

Jamie said recently that he's concerned that Brown isn't getting blue-chip 2026 WR's on campus.

It's just so easy to go to Bama, Georgia and LSU and be amazing.

But at some point, ND is going to have to get a stud or two to commit and get them drafted early. Maybe drop a strategic bag or two.

People shitting on Brown want exactly do you want him to do? Your top 10-15 WR’s don’t wanna go somewhere where they have to study and somewhere that hasn’t had a WR drafted in a while. The kids have to be a fit. Look at the top WR’s for 2026. They are all from the South Georgia Bama Miss or Florida. It’s like hitting the lottery getting one of those kids wanting to visit. We had some success in 2023 and 2 of our 3 best transferred. Theres not one WR in the top 40 in 2026 that’s from the Midwest.

Exactly. Until ND gets some WRs in the league, things will be hard. That will require a QB that can make the passes. We now seemingly have some QBs (if they stick around), so things could start to improve.

Agree. Sorry folks but the fact is that this is todays CFB. Heck it is America 101 nowadays. People want maximum for minimum. ND is an academic school first as it is meant to be. Anyone, fan or player, who doesnt get that needs to be cheering or playing for another team.

I don’t think anyone is asking for 5 star receivers to be lining up outside the door, but he should be able to do a hell of a lot better than what he’s doing now. The obvious lack of momentum in WR recruiting is concerning.

I might be okay with not getting top recruits as long as the portal is there. Sadly and ironically ND might become a portal destination for WRs.

If ND balls out and airs it out this szn this WR recruiting will change. But it's hard to tell kids what "we plan to do" when you're up against teams that can "let's show you what we've DONE"
At this point, just try to get another WR before the snz starts and stay in contact w/ the ones on our board and if the offense is click'n and we're making deep passes look the norm, as opposed to a miracle, things will start to heat up.
My POV on this right now.
