Until we start giving out bags to come here we will barely land enough guys to hang with the big boys.

I wouldn't see the need of keeping MF if we missed out on all
I wouldn’t go that far, but I do question if MF has earned that extension if he’s recruiting at a similar level as BK and winning at around the same clip to boot.

according to some insiders on recent podcasts on youtube our irish do compete with the big boys now money wise but they just don't go public or brag about it like Miami and Oregon and some other schools and in fact one recent podcast talked about how players on current roster tell recruits that visit that they'll be taken care of while at ND

No real update on Owusu, but thinks Ohio state is stronger contender then originally thought. He thinks we could easily go 0-4 with Hines, Robinson, faraimo and meadows

Sinclair

If you are 0-4 plus losing Taylor you have to start questioning this staff.

When they enroll at school, possibly. But ND isn’t pay for play with these high school cats. Like it or not, it’s happening. Check Oregon.

They do now for high schoolers, too. I don’t think they’re going to be outbidding anyone anytime soon, but if a kid is an ND fit, they’re meeting the market rate. I know for a fact through a Michigan connection (gross, I know) that Blair was offered a package that was above and beyond what Michigan has been doing this cycle to overcome ND’s package. He obviously still chose ND for reasons outside of just NIL.

Deuce would be committed elsewhere as well.

The real issue is ND is always slow to get into these things only goes one foot in when they do.

I would certainly think BK would have got an extension had he wanted to stay. I'll keep around any coach that's doing as well as BK at ND post 2016. Just my opinion though.

That would be quite a gut punch if it happens

FWIW Sinclair went on to say he'd be shocked if ND went 0 for 5 on Faraimo/NOB/Hines/Meadows/Robinson.

The insiders don't really know everything. Most of the time, it's just going off of the intel at that time, and they're creating their own impressions from it.

I take some responsibility here. Perhaps I'm providing too many quotes from them. Shit looks bad when it falls of a cliff, sort of speak.

I too once thought about burning my house down because my dog peed on the carpet. Seemed easier than cleaning up the mess.
Sometimes it’s better to get a new house than replace the carpet. When the house isn’t the one you need.
not at all jumping to that conclusion yet but 2024 is playoffs or bust for me and should be for the program.

I assume our board would be much wider now at WR if we were looking that bad for Meadows, Hines, and Robinson
Exactly. I'm not buying that we miss out on all 3 of the WR still on the board.
