For all those that bought low on Bobby Witt, Jr, congrats. He‘s a franchise 5-tool player. Trout can’t seem to remain healthy so maybe he’s passed the torch of 5-tool superstar to Witt. And don’t look now, but Kansas City playing some damn fine baseball.

And down goes Mookie, in the middle of another MVP-contending year. Big loss, hope he heals up quickly and comes back fresh for a playoff run. Mookie is one of my favorite players.

I agree when it comes to his batting but his defense leaves much to be desired. To be fair, he’s a 31 year old learning how to play shortstop during the season. I can’t imagine anyone doing it better than him but his best position is RF. He leads all shortstops in errors. He struggles w/ the throws. Again, much respect for his effort & putting team first but I’d rather see Miguel Rojas play SS & put Mookie back in RF.
Last week was further proof that you can spend all the money in the world but it won’t predict injuries (Yamamoto & Betts) or boneheaded GM & manager decisions.

Watched this video from a couple of years ago at the LLWS. I couldn't stop laughing at this kid's comment. Coach didn't even blink, "I like your attitude". :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

The other 6% thought Devin Hester was throwing out the first pitch.

Don't know if this is one of MLB's Greatest Moments. LOL. It certainly is entertaining though. I don't think I've ever seen this clip.

It’s old school for sure. Randle later went to the Mariners where he famously got down on the ground and blew a ball into foul territory.

Fun highlight for what's been nothing but a bunch of low-lights for my Tigers lately. Although a lot of the credit for the little league HR goes to the poor decision making by the CF, his complete lack of hustle after missing the ball, and the LF for not backing up his teammate in the OF lol.

The belly-flop of a slide was just icing on the cake.

Always fun watching Boone do what Boone always does. Tank.

Not sure what is so hard about this. 162 games...you might need some pitching.

This free fall, per usual, will be entertaining

The fact that Cleveland does not have one reliever ( other than the closer Clase) in the All Star game is criminal.
I have mixed feelings about the rule to have at least one player from each team represented in the ASG. I understand that they want the highest ratings possible for the mid-summer classic and you're much more likely to do that if you give each fanbase at least one reason to tune in... but it leads to an unprecedented number of snubs every year as a direct result.

I generally agree with this, but Garrett Crochet is a guy that might otherwise get left out bc the White Sox are ass, but he really is worthy of a spot in the ASG this year.

He's 100% worthy of an appearance. His SO numbers are insane. There are always going to be outliers, but I like to think he would've made it regardless of the rule.

I wish they'd do away with the ASG. These guys play enough games as is, instead we should be giving everyone a 10 day 'get right' window where they do some community-relations work and let their bodies rest for the back half.

I'm certain I'm in the minority
