I think the year before is when Fisher was mediocre. He wasn't elite last year, but I would rate him above average. Dropping some lbs. helped him a lot.
I don't think Fisher benefitted a lot, if any, from dropping his weight.
He got a little bit quicker, but he also wasn't pushing guys around like most expected. It also didn't help with his consistency issues.
While I wouldn't consider Fisher's overall body of work last year as "mediocre", I'd be lying if I said I didn't expect way more out of him in 2023 and it wasn't a disappointing year from his end. I'd say he was slightly above average, but I'll be real, he wasn't taken in the 2nd round over what he showed at ND. He was taken because he has the ceiling to be much better. But if he doesn't start playing with some consistency, he's never going to reach that potential.
There's little chance that Jagusah is going to be able to replicate what Alt was able to do. There's a near certainty that it's going to be a flat downgrade at LT. I'm nowhere near there when it comes to RT, and that's with a general concern about how good Wagner or Baker can be. But at the end of the day, the production at RT from Fisher last year just wasn't all that good. Helps that I expect the interior spots to be a lot better this year than they were for most of last year.
