I was pretty surprised that Taylor wasn't drafted. But it seems like teams put little-to-no value in an offball attack. Cormier also wasn't drafted and he's about to finish his career with a bazillion goals and also has more range than Taylor.

Actually, if what I’ve seen is correct, Jake has another year of eligibility and plans to be back with the team in 2025!

No shit? Man, I need to pay more attention... must've gotten an extra year for his ACL injuries?

Rough first half for ND. That penalty was a killer… similar to football, the “targeting” calls when someone is diving or falling down is absurd. He was coming with a low body check aimed at his upfield shoulder.

Definitely a foul, but back in the day that’s at most a 1 minute unreleasable. 3 minutes for a routine play is crazy.

the men are playing like the woman did earlier today against scUM but hopefully it doesn't end the same way

Story of the first half is all those unforced errors. One at the end of the half was horrible, could have run down the clock instead they score.
Are we too loose or too tight? I don't know but we better play better or this will be the biggest upset in the playoffs in damn near ever.

No edge. Playing 80% speed like it’s a practice.

Albany has had 4:30 man-up time I think? I don't believe ND has had any.

And Entenmann is great, obviously, but he has let in a couple soft goals today.

Back on track in the 2nd half. Faceoff dominance helps. Albany is a tough out, always a lot of Canadians and Rez kids that are tough. Scotty lets them loose so it’s pretty interesting.

Haven’t watched a ton this year but have to imagine first half was worst half all year. Seemed like cruise control after they took a multi goal lead in the 2nd. Clearly a talented team and hope they can repeat.

Finals hangover? Win and move on.
And for the record I am not a fan of Buchner on the field. He's a liability. I assume #19 is hurt?

I saw Buchner get beat a couple of times today and you are correct he replaced #19 Alacqua a few weeks ago so maybe there's an injury there. Buchner hasn't played Lax in years so it shouldn't be expected that he's ready to be a top player now. A year of practice should get him in a better place. We lose multiple midfielders after this season so he should be in the mix.

Maybe...Just very unfortunate that he's in the mix now...Below average game awareness, below average stick skills, slightly below average cover skills....I really hope Alacqua gets back on the field next week, because he's needed.

Went to a ND lacrosse game the other day. Was free. Was cool. Never seen a lacrosse game in my life. Just thought I’d say as a newbie it was kind of fun.

Georgetown week....
Georgetown started off extremely slow, and then literally dominated PSU. Obviously they have some players, as they already knocked off ND once this year, and had 3 players drafted. Good possibility that their FOGO doesn't play as he got hurt at the end of the PSU game. If that's the case...huge advantage to ND.

Thoughts for the day?
Will be curious to see if ND mixes in 3 middie lines today, or sticks with 2. Really hoping to see #19 running second line SSDM. Lynch should dominate face today so I just don't see any chance they lose this rematch. Georgetown will most likely try to suck the life out of the game again, and has played them pretty tough the last few years. Feeling a 14-10 type ND win.

In the first game they ran the clock down every possession and then attacked the SSMF. So guys like Ramsey, Harris, Parlette and Buchner need to be ready to handle things.
