It's not being ruffled it's just a dumb take

It's the Koon special

He does have justification... he mentioned before that he's not high on Minchey because Minchey just looks happy to be there. Having too much fun and goofing off, when he should look like a pissed off Tom Brady every time he's on camera since he's still got so much to prove.

+2 springs and never a write up about how hard he's competing, looks like a 15 year old physically (other than throwing a great ball), just looks happy to be on the bus.

Which is perfectly fine if that's his mindset, but I see no killer instinct in him and feel good about my prediction. But I know we aren't supposed to notice these things. Noticed same stuff with Tobias.

This is going to be battle to keep Deuce committed until he signs, for those that are flipping out because he changed his twitter profile picture need to take recruiting class 101.

I'll definitely keep my trust in this coaching staff because I haven't seen a staff like this recruit their asses off like they have been- including seeing Deuce as much as they have in January.

ND has had no problem being successful in the portal with getting Hartman & Leonard in back-back classes and I think our QB room is the healthiest its ever been (thank you Hartman).

If Deuce decommits sometimes the grass isn't always greener on the other side and for anyone sending DM's or replying on social media....needs a hobby.

I do kind of get that... it's the Vibe Test instead of the Eye Test.

Some guys radiate "competitor" or "alpha" from a distance, others don't.

Where you and I differ is that I'm not predicting he's non-factor based on that. Kyren Williams didn't give me those vibes... then he made every defender on the field look foolish most Saturdays.

And quite a few on Sundays too! 2nd Team All Pro this year. Too bad some people thought he was too small and slow in high school...

I am not saying he is going to be good I have no idea but to have an opinion on something you have no knowledge of makes no sense
There's enough out there from HS, feedback from people with practice knowledge, spring game, etc to have an opinion.

I'm not down or up on him. I just hope we all QBs are here competing spring 2025 and let the best man win. Hopefully a very clear winner.

I don't really have a dog in this fight either way but this is a factual data point imo

He looks a little too Drew Pyne out there for my tastes as well

2 springs? He was a true freshman last year and if I remember correctly there was all that glowing praise when he was scout team Caleb Williams before sc. I have no skin in this game at all and think carr is likely to jump him but to say that an 18 year old you have never met or talked to or sat with his coaches doesn't have the right mindset is just a bad take

He was EE, and there's no age restriction on being an alpha competitor.

If you have any reports on him being an ultimate competitor, I'm open to reading them. He's been the highest rated QB on the team the last two springs, they wouldn't be shy about pumping sunshine if they saw any.

Know that I'm not looking for pats on the back with my read on him, but also not going to lie to myself. Using your logic, it was also "a bad take" to see exactly what TM was before we all saw what TM was.

Could I be wrong? Sure. We'll see.

I don't know why you keep harping on this after you've been corrected. He's had 1 spring. One. That's it. Winter workouts started a few weeks ago. Winter workouts are not the same thing as "spring." His 2nd "spring" won't start for another month or so.

But in dog years that's like 7 springs so he should be graduated by now. #failure

Corrected on insignificant detail. He's been here a year, show me a single reporter talk about his competitiveness. Show me him changing his body. Show me him not smiling the entire game on sidelines, just happy to be there. These things aren't that hard to get a read on for a QB.

What are you talking about he has been through 1 spring which was last year and if you then want to talk about the highest rated carr is in now which this spring will be his second and carrs first

It's not insignificant when you keep repeating it and are using that incorrect data point as part of your dumb evaluation.
I acknowledged a moment ago but a small correction of a single detail on one of many points doesn't change anything.

Look, you're more than welcome to think he has "it". I don't, but I could be wrong.

I also don't care how much it upsets you that someone sees something you don't. I have a company to run, have at it.

You have a weird brain. Show me where I was upset because someone saw something that I don't.

Y'all don't get it. Koon can SMELL the fear on people and knows when a person has a killer mentality. He learned this through the mental torture of Timeshare Pitches, but was able to get a one-up on the sales team by getting a fantastic deal. He is graciously sharing the results of his finely-honed skills with us and we should be grateful. When he says that Minchey isn't an alpha competitor, it's because he knows that Kenny would never have the chest to stick through a hard sell for timeshares.
