Arnold might be the future but OU is goimg to regret not doing everything in their power to keep Gabriel. From all accounts they pretty much nudged him out the door. I will never be a proponent of lessening your chance to win now (next season) for what might or might not happen 2 years from now.
One thing about the portal is it is going to force teams to shoot their shot each year..multi year rebuilds are a thing of the past.

Feels like you’re going to see that less and less from the top programs. Who has time to invest in years of QB development when you can plug someone in and make a run?

I really wonder what the top of the QB recruiting market looks like in 5 years. I assume they all still go to the power programs, but do they transfer out when Ohio State decided it could grab a fifth year senior instead of deal with growing pains from the five star sophomore?

I was thinking that, or possibly even GPA related achievements as well.
Regardless, it looks ridiculous when a guy who hasn’t even contributed one meaningful snap all season has half a helmet full of “achievement” stickers.
