Jamari Thrash and Jawar Jordan opting out is pretty fucking sad. Big game for a school like Louisville. I get it more for a program like ND playing in the sun bowl where it means less.

OK State laying a nice ass beating on TAM so far. Know Elko has radical changes coming but still like seeing this.

Miller Moss may be the truth. Dime for TD #6 to Duce Robinson.

Didn’t realize Moss was composite #76 player in 2021. Talk about the kid like he was a 3 star.

Moss just threw a beautiful dime for about a 40 yd td. He is getting close to 400 yds passing. He looks kind of like a smaller qb, but the kid is playing quite well.

I didn't realize he was that high coming out of hs either. May be Lincoln's guy next year. Article below indicates Ohio St may be targeting Will Howard now who USC was recently looking at:

UL has been overrated ever since they beat ND. I look forward to the day when we stop being resume makers for mediocre teams. Should be coming soon.
I know Thrash opted out but who else of note b/c they’ve looked like shit. Can’t believe they beat ND. Plummer may have a dinged hand but I don’t think the results would be that much better. Sadly, because of his measurables I bet he’s on an NFL roster or practice squad next year.

The 2nd half of the ND-Louisville game was terrible. Our team, literally, looked deflated like they ran out of gas physically and emotionally. Freeman has to get this team ready on the road for future years. Know the last couple games prior (Ohio St, Duke) were a lot but that 2nd half v. Louisville was brutal.

Our schedule was a big factor in that game. Won’t be in 2024. And the Louisville home crowd was really something. Really not the same team on the road.
That pass rush was not there last night. Moss ate them alive.

Correct. The scheduling needs to be laid out better if ND insists on being independent. I get there’s some that’s out of their control but putting their CFP fate in the hands of the ACC doesn’t set the Irish up for success.

Just taking the temperature of this board...how engaged or detached have you all been from the bowl games this year? I used to watch as many bowl games as possible; however, so far, this year I haven't watched more than 5 minutes.

With the CFP/devaluing of bowls, all of the opt outs, free rein transfer portal, and so forth, I just can't get into it. I certainly can't risk betting on them. They're essentially glorified spring practices at this point. I'll pick some up as this weekend approaches, but I don't see how this model is sustainable.

I would say total watch time has been about five hours. Of course a big chunk of that was watching all of the Miami (OH) vs App State game.

I will watch a lot this weekend though (more than just the CFP games).

Parker was responsible for horrible coaching that game and Sam showed he was not top 10 talent. Louisville has been in Sams head for a couple of years. No shame in outplaying Ohio state or even losing to a revitalized Clemson in the road but that loss might as well been to a .500 team as that is how they have looked or worse since they shot their wad against us. We play them now we beat them by 25.

10 minutes. Didn’t fill out the office pool this year, too hard to track players and if the backups are good.

B C gets to stay in Beantown for their bowl. Is that an advantage or the booby prize? And they get the coveted 11:00 AM time slot.

Yes CMF has made some mistakes in his two seasons of coaching, but Cristobal is one of many examples that regardless of how many seasons a HC has under his belt, they still make mistakes. Mario seems to take the cake lately. Wow, what a horrible season.

Would think Mario needs 9 wins next year to keep his job, unless Miami fans are content to be recruiting / offseason champions.
