So like many people, I've had alot of ups and downs in my life. But I am thankful that anytime I have been down, I can console myself in the faith that while things may be tough at the moment, that just means I'm due for an uptick.

I just had a really shitty weekend...

Thank you lord!!!!

I don’t have a problem necessarily if it’s Gino. I just don’t want the smoke and mirrors of a national search if they’re not actually going to. Come out and promote him with no interim tag, or do a national search. No in between.
This.

Also, I can't believe that Christmas might be coming a week early!

Wow. Well there goes the argument of no one is trying to hire Parker lol.

On the other hand someone did hire him. Let's hope Freeman and ND give this position the due diligence it deserves. IF Gino is in fact our best option, I want it to be because of an exhaustive search and no contract negotiation flubs.

I do however expect this one to be far more private in nature than last time.
Let's hope they get off their hands and try to bring a very good hire! Wont even go Homerun hire bc we certainly don't seem like we even attempt that anymore after the Ludwig fiasco.

The optics of Troy hiring a guy who ND fans publicly hate is pretty hilarious.

On paper, Parker actually had decent stats this year, but we've beat it to a pulp: Against any D with a heartbeat, he looked completely out of sorts.

What a terrible hire for Troy. Bless their souls, thank you so much haha

Wow. Wasn't expecting him to get a head coaching gig. Maybe another OC opportunity. Huge step for him!

Despite his shortcomings as an OC, I actually think he'll make a decent/good head coach.

He's a culture guy and players seem to really like him. If he can nail his assistant hires, he could keep the Troy train rolling along.
Some average OCs or assistants are just better off as head coaches. The position requires a totally different set of skills from a playcaller or developer.
