Has Loy updated his prediction on when this will happen?

I don't think ND screwed this up. Maybe no plan b. Sounds like the Gillette signing makes him think he can get the best of both worlds. Maybe we really don't need another one. Maybe.
This raises a good question in general. Do we know if these contracts specify that the player has to be playing college ball? I don't know, but I would think NIL deals aren't for those going pro.

Dude has a degree from a pseudo Ivy League school.

He already played school. I couldn’t blame him for wanting to focus solely on football for one season and possibly winning a natty.

The real question is why WOULDN’T he want to go somewhere like Georgia?

Let's give him until 8:30pm Eastern standard time tomorrow, the 12th of January
Nah, I'm fine with him leaving us in the lurch, but that long would be too detrimental. Friday at noon we start talking about his play against good opponents!

I agree and said days ago he wasn't coming to ND. And I don't really blame him either, he'd win more and have more fun. His girl on the other hand may want him at ND if not Aub. Can't imagine after a season as top Dawg in Athens he walks out still in a relationship.

I was actually holding my breath. I couldn’t understand why he’d want to play for Parker after what this season looked like with Hartman. I hope we get him but if it was me (the non fan version) I’d go elsewhere.

Idk. I thought McCord was average at best, and they won 11 games despite McCord. Two first round picks at wide receiver and a great defense was wasted.
Based on what metrics? If McCord is "average at best" there are 100 other dudes I feel extremely sorry for.

RL doesn't know how we get down on IE. In about 2 hours we start talking about his favorable '22 schedule where he didn't play any real defenses. In 2.5 hours we start talking about how he shit the bed in '23 when playing a defense with a pulse. At the 4 hour mark, shit really hits the fan....ROFL

I had some mocha oatmeal for breakfast - it was delicious.

Also, if he hasn't committed by 5:00 PM EST today, December 12th, 2023 than I am going to call customer service and demand to speak to a representative.

I think its fairly obvious that he told ND he was coming and would announce sometime in the last couple days, but in typical dickhead Duke student fashion, he is playing a game. Cant blame the staff for taking his commitment and expecting he would honor it.

With Mitchell and Collins committing to us, surely they were told that a QB will be coming in... I could be wrong, but I do not see them both committing if we don't have a Riley type QB coming.

Worst case scenario is Leonard isn’t coming and the current WR commits want out.

I suspect he's been spooked by the social media claims of tampering. Hence his statement about leaving Duke "the right way." He doesn't want to create the impression he had one foot out the door.

I think it is the fact that every insider to a degree is very confident and yet no commit is worrying.
