He has literally followed everyone on the team, my only guess is someone threw a bag at him....and it's an offer that's hard to turn down. Maybe ND is working behind the scenes to match or counter. But if OSU wants him throwing to MHJr...nothing ND can do to stop it. If they go all in on MHJr, the bag they toss the QB is like insurance.

I don't blame them. They can't put all of their eggs in one basket coupled with the significant amount of money I'm sure they've offered him, I'd be pretty peeved as well.

Is it certain that he's visited other schools? I know Ohio State and Auburn were mentioned; however, is it certain that he's been on campus?

Didn't know he had a girlfriend at Auburn...smh...and we have been calling this a done deal. Quick google shows he's been with her for almost 5 years. This thing is faaaaar from over.

IMO he'd much rather be right from start to finish that have his "read" on things challenged. Just my opinion.

I mentioned earlier in the thread that a friend of mine (Auburn alum) mentioned that they had been dating since high school. He's a Birmingham guy, but his younger brother is currently at Auburn and knows RL's girlfriend pretty well through their Greek scene (they are both pretty involved according to him).
Presumptively, she's most likely upset that he's looking to go to South Bend, Indiana - a mere 12 hours away when he has the opportunity to select Auburn, where she attends and their home state school.
Who knows? He's gotta do what's right for him. That said, I always thought Auburn was way more in play than Ohio State. It's a Notre Dame / Auburn race, in my opinion (I still think he commits to Notre Dame, it may just take a little more time, coaxing, and reassurance).

He's not even being recruited by Auburn. They're not even taking a QB in the portal(which, IMO, is incredibly dumb by them). ND fans are the only ones panicking.

The opposite. There’s no real evidence of Leonard’s interest in other schools at all. No (publicly-known) visits, no real smoke from reporters, all his socials are ND.
I think that’s what makes this so unsettling. Every arrow points our way. And yet…
