He resented his daughter’s success from “Paper Moon” as well. He must’ve had some demons or a shitty upbringing.
He & Lee Majors were close friends. Lee had to be away on a movie shoot or something so he asked his buddy Ryan to look out for Farrah. Rest is history. Thanks buddy.

This one hits close to home. Big George was a man among boys in HS. His physic and athleticism was uncommon then. He was the mold for the power forward. The best HS player I have ever seen. Could have played TE in the NFL.. Back then the Indiana Kentucky HS All Star game was huge. They played two games, one in each state.

I saw McGinnis twice in 69 when Warren Central played Washington. The first was when Warren played Washington early in the season. Washington won 90-45. Fast forward to the regional finals. Warren vs. Washington, part 2. We were foolishly excited and thought we could beat Washington, because we had both of our 6’9” players available to match their height and we were on a hot streak beating a ranked team to win sectionals. Before a packed Hinkle Fieldhouse, it was 35-0 before we scored. Lost by 45 again. Lol
