I would be willing to bet 80% of college football teams will have a transfer as a starter.
I can't remember if it was II or ISD guys, but they said on a podcast that teams will be lucky to have 4 scholarship QB's on the roster by the time the season starts. You take a 4th in the offseason to prepare for one of the 3 QB's currently on the roster transferring in the offseason.

Exactly what I have been saying. A high percentage of schools will be in this exact category.

If every team has three QBs on the roster in August, where will one-fourth of the quarterbacks be? Not on a roster?

There simply aren't enough jobs out there, considering how many QBs get recruited into D1 college football these days. But this game of QB musical chairs gets silly. Not everyone will have an obvious path to start, and THAT's OK. More of them should probably sit tight and see what develops. Especially if they're at a good school and generally like their coaching staff.

What they should do and what they actually do has been an issue for the last couple years

Development will suffer and Tom Brady will have a bigger axe to grind

If the Irish did indeed pass on Will Howard does anyone know the reason? I think he’s just as good or maybe better than Leonard.

Hoping this really is a done deal because Ohio St. will be looking for a new QB with McCord in the portal. I could see Pratt at OSU.
