Any interest in giving Deland wideouts also and adding another defensive assistant for pass rushers?

Recruiting was going well for sure under stuckey, but no clue what he was coaching as it wasn't showing up on game days. No slants, no moves, no fighting for the ball, multiple soft tissue issues. I'm shocked he got let go, if that's what happened, but it's not shocking if what our eyes saw on the field were potentially due to coaching.

Simply put, he may not have been the best guy to coach college wideouts.
I thought he did pretty well at Baylor. Thornton was a stud.

He also inherited an absolute dumpster fire WR room at ND. He just started getting good recruits and the WR room has been (slowly) improving from nothing.

Surprised at this firing - 2 years really isn’t much time given what he inherited.

Freeman scapegoating Stuckey sure is something.

With that said, I do think there should be more discussion around his development/coaching/etc than just he recruit good, we're alright.

I don't think scapegoating is this issue here.

As alluded to from previous posts, if he wasn't a great coach it's in MF's best interest to move on sooner than later.
