IDFK but we all watched him literally tell the entire team from last year to fuck off and that everyone was replaceable then he brings in a bunch of mercs and his son and they go 4-8 after the hype train derailed in game 4.

If I’m a recruit…gotta wonder just how stable the program is and whether I’d last a season m if everyone is replaceable

It's funny how you couldn't criticize the Church of Prime after the TCU win, and now here is everyone doing it. I said TCU was overrated and got roasted by the experts here even though I live in TX not far from TCU campus. Early season wins mean little when we are just figuring out who is who in college football.

But I didn't see that program exploding quite the way it is. Wow.

Maybe these recruits are smarter than we give them credit for? If I know Sanders dumped a bunch of kids, I have to wonder if he would do it again and if I could be one of the casualties if I signed with them.

Not much different from a coach taking a bunch of JUCO's IMO, but you're right it was just a 1 win team getting to 4 wins which isn't anything unusual. Louisville went from 1 win the previous year to 7. Iowa St went from 2 wins to 7. Snyder took KSU from 1 win to 5. Holtz took S Carolina from 0 to 8 wins. Maryland went from 2 to 7. Rutgers went from 1 to 5. Syracuse 1 to 5.

If this had been any other coach at CU, there wouldn't be all the attention.

When things are going the way we predicted, it's easy to want to revel in it a bit.

I'm happy to see this thing blowing up because people thought it was some weird Jim Crowe, deeply embedded racist bent that drove many of us to dislike Deion. It's completely incorrect. We dislike him because he is a self-aggrandizing, loud AF coach who doesn't appear to have substance. He does some nice things and says some nice things like most people but he's not a high level coach capable of building a winning culture (yet). He may do a 180, maybe Jesus and his angels will descend upon him and he'll have an awakening.

His son is selling merch at halftime and flashing his watch to the crowd one minute, the next minute he's the victim and people just want to control him. Coach Freeman should constantly have stories written about him, he's a man of substance. Doing things behind the scenes, engaging with the University and he's not a blatant self-promoter. He's a man on a path of development.

Coach Prime will have the lights on him again at some point. There will probably be more roster turnover and more transfers and he'll have an opportunity to show everyone he's learned something or, he'll double down on his schtick and we'll all be rooting for an exciting full speed train wreck.

And I'm still pissed Edwards didn't come to ND. I think he could be a helluva weapon for us.
