Idk. Some games we would have wanted more but Parker has us up there

Parker is like feast or famine. We feast if the defense we play is Swiss cheese. It's famine if they're at least a decent defense. 5 TDs scored on offense from OSU->Duke->Louisville, not counting one garbage time score late against the Cardinals.

wonder who IU targets as next coach when Tom Allen gets fired after this season. don't know for sure that he will but still losing after a 5th or 6th season doesn't bold well for him in my opinion.
Allen’s biggest problem is finding decent coaches that can recruit. He had IU headed in the right direction when Wilson was his OC. He hasn’t recovered since then.

That offense is full of 5 star talent. You would literally have to be a complete disaster to mess up with those athletes.
Right but Bama has their worst QB room in a loooong time & as ND fans know full well…a QB can make or break a team’s success. Tommy was able to cobble together enough offense w/ Drew Pyne to finish the season 9-4. The same Drew Pyne who is 3rd on the ASU depth chart. I realize his lack of recruiting prowess put them in a situation where they had Buchner/Pyne. It shows he’s not big on recruiting & taking the Bama gig tells me he wants out of college ASAP.

Except they don’t have the dominant QB or receivers they’ve had over the past few years……..but you’re right, the players they do have are not slouches.

They are in a bad spot. It’s not a desirable job. They either need to swing for the fences (get some outrageous personality like Deion), go in a COMPLETELY different direction (like going triple option - Niamatalolo is available), or pick some other MAC level guy and spend yet another 6-8 years being a bottom dweller….

Very curious to see how things play out in Coral Gables and Gainesville in the next few weeks. Gainesville especially.

Penn State's defense is pretty legit. It should get Manny Diaz another bite at the apple.

We're only a few weeks away from things starting to move. I count no vacant FBS jobs right now and two interim coaches (Northwestern and Michigan State).

Parker would look good in Green and white! Think he's done enough though?

I don't think they will fire Jimbo yet. Especially since it isn't hurting recruiting.
I work with and around many Aggies. Jimbo is definitely on a very hot seat, and the $$ is in place to send him packing. They still have LSU to play, and UT is coming in next year. Aggies are obsessed with UT, and will do whatever needed to not allow UT to shuffle them back in the SEC West pack.

Why would Alford come back here?
Chance to be an OC? Just spitballin' though, cause I don't see it happening and we definitely don't want another coach learning on the job. I'm pretty sure he has aspirations to be the HC of CSU someday, and I don't think he's going to get there as a RB coach.

If Michigan beats OSU do the Buckeyes part ways with Day?

I could see that but the post didn't have him in the OC category.

Not a chance, you don't fire a coach who's never lost 3 games in a season...ever. Doesn't matter if Michigan has his number or not....Michigan and OSU has always been cyclical, starting next year...Day may beat them 4 years in a row.

ND and MF should go all in on Ruggiero, he made scrubby ass Sam Hartman look like Aaron Rogers.

I'd look at Casey Woods at SMU, as well.

Not without an incredibly good replacement and I don't know who that would even be at this point.
I'm with you. It would be more likely that Day moves on before OSU moves on. Cooper had a horrible record vs Michigan and he was there for an eternity.
