They're gonna have to bite the bullet at some point and hire Burmeister. He's great.

Hopefully Pete can talk Jenkins and the BOT into the fact that having this kind of pro-ND emotion on the NBC broadcasts is a GOOD thing for the University.

Ive listened to non ND media guys before ask WTF does NBC have to impartial when broadcasting ND. They were saying any other school with that situation would have homer announcing team, a totally crooked rules consultant guy and a analyst team of all alums all pushing narratives that suit ND and nobody else. You'd wish ND would stipulate more to NBC but they wont

At least 25 ago my mom became convinced that a Mich grad was in charge of NBC's ND coverage.

That’s a really good idea. It would make the game experience more enjoyable.

If you don’t wanna watch it with that slant, then tune in to NBC. If you do prefer that, switch peacock.

I think that’s a cool idea, but it’s genuinely funny to think that Notre Dame has an *exclusive* national TV contract with NBC to call our home games and they’d have to put the pro-Notre Dame call on Peacock so that they can have an impartial team call the game on NBC, who we have an *exclusive* national TV contract with to call our home games.

I've called for this for decades. I want to have guys in the booth who would be the equivalent to Hawk Harrelson, Ron Santo & Joe Rogan.

I want our announcers to threaten the officiating crew's physical well being even on questionable calls.

I didn't know Burmeister had it in him. He didn't sound like a homer when I've listened to him on roadtrips to Cali before.

I think Shaun Davis has become the worst on the beat these days. Everything he says just seems like he wants to start a conflict with fans. Probably just wanting clicks but he has quickly alienated the fan base.

He’s currently fighting with people on Twitter saying that Ludwig was a way better hire than Parker. Driskell is defending him. I have to agree with them on that.

Wait, is he saying Parker was the better hire or that Ludwig would have been better? Because I genuinely can’t imagine anyone saying they’d hire Parker over Ludwig for literally anything.

One has a proven track record of success and the other is Geraldo Eat’n Park.
