*All thisI feel bad for him b/c he’s going to get thrashed by fans & media in Alabama. I still don’t understand what convinced him that he’d be a good fit down there.

Freeman thought this was good enough to not get a transferFreeman went 9-4 with this and pyne
No one could have overcame the combo of zero reps for nearly his entire high school career, an OC/QB coach incapable of developing him *and* the worst QB coach in history breaking his throwing motion before he even got to college. He didn’t look like a division 1 QB let alone power 5. He’s donezo
I stated in this thread last year he should be coming home to play for San Diego State. They had been struggling at the QB play and a lot less pressure for Tyler than either at ND or Bama. He'll be at San Diego or San Jose St next year
That's what they should dothey will go back to the original guy. He will win most games with his legs.
It’s amazing to see what happens when you’re not the only ones buying all your players BMWs and Rollies,… in the preNiL era Hartman is in the league or in TuscaloosaI feel bad for him b/c he’s going to get thrashed by fans & media in Alabama. I still don’t understand what convinced him that he’d be a good fit down there.
I mean the QB probably was there his entire tenure for the most part. He was a huge part of the problem.I am no longer a member, but I remember when I was on Irish Breakdown, Driskel and company thrashed Kelly for not developing Wimbush, Jurkovec and Buchner. What a joke. When a QB can't throw the ball, he can't throw the ball, no matter who is coaching him.
If you are talking about the guy who changed his motion before coming to ND, I agree. If you are talking about Rees, I strongly disagree. Buchner was ruined, or either not very good, before he enrolled at ND. Same with Wimbush and Jurkovec.Really amazing what a bad "QB guru" can do a kid. What a scam that guy pulled on Buchner. Fucking ruined the kid.
Then that’s shit QB evaluation. Either way the QB position at ND has been inexcusable. If you are talking about the guy who changed his motion before coming to ND, I agree. If you are talking about Rees, I strongly disagree. Buchner was ruined, or either not very good, before he enrolled at ND. Same with Wimbush and Jurkovec.
He had some really good moments as a freshman but never developed from thereIf you are talking about the guy who changed his motion before coming to ND, I agree. To a certain extent, yes. Bad luck is also in the picture:Then that’s shit QB evaluation. Either way the QB position at ND has been inexcusable.
Tommy or Tyler????He’s really bad

Yes and he went ballistic when it was suggested that Tyler was injury prone. He denied Tyler was injured in HS, too. Glad that whole chapter is done. Awfully biased analysis all the way around.I am no longer a member, but I remember when I was on Irish Breakdown, Driskel and company thrashed Kelly for not developing Wimbush, Jurkovec and Buchner.
