I stated in this thread last year he should be coming home to play for San Diego State. They had been struggling at the QB play and a lot less pressure for Tyler than either at ND or Bama.

If you are talking about the guy who changed his motion before coming to ND, I agree. If you are talking about Rees, I strongly disagree. Buchner was ruined, or either not very good, before he enrolled at ND. Same with Wimbush and Jurkovec.

He had some really good moments as a freshman but never developed from there

Wimbush-High 4 star with offers from many major programs;
Jurkovec-High 4 star with offers from many major programs;
Buchner-Same as above

Yes and he went ballistic when it was suggested that Tyler was injury prone. He denied Tyler was injured in HS, too. Glad that whole chapter is done. Awfully biased analysis all the way around.

I think Sam is the best QB I have seen at ND. This is the year to do a run. Gotta beat OSU first.
