the national weather lady just showed the map of the U.S. and showed the path of hurricane lee going up alongside the east coast. hope they don't have a repeat of the 2016 game in Raliegh where they played in a massive rainstorm.

That’s not until late next week

The hourly forecast shows a 50% chance of a thunderstorm or two with little wind.

anybody think they'll get some heavy rain from that hurricane that could come close to the coastal area.

Here's your forecast. Given the winds are supposed to be low, I would say whatever rain that may fall probably isn't a result of the hurricane.

Obviously it’s college football and shit happens but unless we let Brennan Armstrong go nuts, I don’t really see a theory for how NC State wins this game. They should not be able to keep up with our offense.

Hartman throwing some picks when he ran a different offense for a lesser team doesn’t really matter here.

This was such a fun watch. Smythe and Stepherson with 2 of the best catches we've seen in a while in this game.

For some reason, my confidence is growing as the week goes on. I feel like this could be a 42-17 or 42-10 kind of game.

One thing that I've seen talked about a fair amount his Armstrong's ability as a runner. I assume this is because against UConn he was 19 for 96 and 2 Td's on the ground. However, over his previous 3 seasons and 30 games at UVA he only had 1,174 yards total. That was on 347 carries or good for 3.4 yds/carry. I'm not sure I'm really worried about him as a running threat against a defense with a pulse. We'll see. Seems like the larger sample size tells a very different story.

I kinda agree. He's not a game wrecking runner, but he's a good drive extending/short yardage/td scoring runner.

I'm not worried about him busting the game open with his running, but I am worried his legs could be the reason they get a number of first downs we have defended well, but lose contain, or miss tackles.

With that said, their oline might not be good, and he could be running all day.

I would bet vs ND they know they'll need to use him in a lot of short yardage situations to have a chance at extending first downs.

Yeah the fact that Brennen Armstrong had to run the ball 20 times against UCONN says more about NC State's offense than anything else. UCONN was 93rd in rushing defense last year, yet NC State only averaged 4.1 ypc with their RBs. Their longest play all game was also a 19 yeard pass. Not explosive at all.

Fair, but if he runs the ball 15 times for 45 yards I think we'll take that even if it means a few first downs mixed in.

I think the II pod cited a stat where he’s gotten at least one 10+ yd run in every game he’s played. Hopefully Golden doesn’t get too blitz happy & it turns into last year‘s SC game. Even if NCST has success w/ their offense, ND should be able to outscore them provided the OL can give Hartman & the RB time to make plays. I believe the OL shoulders the biggest burden in this game. NCST had a legit defense last season & I expect them to be playing over the heads tomorrow.

I have to work till 2:30 tomorrow. Tragic 🙁
I kid you not, I have a buddy who actually quit his job because they were making him work a mandatory shift tomorrow lol. He has been looking for a way out of his role for a while now, including applying anywhere who was hiring in his field, but this was the last straw for him.

The dedication is incredible.

what's your excuse?!
