Jayden Thomas is currently our number 1 and I doubt he would play at OSU over these guys

They definitely seem to be playing with an edge I don’t think we’ve seen for some time. It seems to be across the board as well. The word around this team is physical and violent…. If true that’s completely different from last year and should bode well
Murderous too. Might Hamlin a few guys this year.
A) Hamlin had cardiac arrest. That’s not something you give somebody.
B) Your shit is old & not funny.
I, and most others, know you are trying to say outlandish stuff & trying to be edgy, & in your mind, witty… but it’s not any of those things.
You are the equivalent of a bad comedian trying to drop the N word or joke about the holocaust to try to make a name for themselves.
If someone says “that’s gay” or “he’s retarded” off the cuff, because those were common statements in our youth & didn’t mean anything, no big deal.
But to take the time to actually think it, type it out, and hit send, shows you are trying to be whatever it is you are trying & it’s not funny at all.
Just stop. It’s not witty or funny.
To be fair Hamlin experienced commotio cordis, which was "given" to him by a blow to the chest. Maybe he is expecting Sneed to lay out a bunch of guys in the way Kinnon Tatum did to USC.A) Hamlin had cardiac arrest. That’s not something you give somebody.

If the OL plays well this season, ND’s stable of RBs (if healthy) should be very difficult to game plan against this season. They have so many different skillsets of long speed, power, quickness, pass catching ability, etc. Haven’t been pumped like this about the RB room in a long time…….may need to take an adrenaline blocker.Sounds like all 5 RB’s will play which I’m completely fine with. Don’t need to wear down Audric we will need him fresh against Ohio State, USC and Clemson
I'm with you. The only disappointment we'll experience at seeing Estime, Payne, Price, Love or Ford go in is that one of them had to come out (most often). I'm really itching to see what each of them can do and how their styles will be complementary. Price will have a slow on-ramp I'm certain. Maybe he takes 2-5 touches to start. If the OL plays well this season, ND’s stable of RBs (if healthy) should be very difficult to game plan against this season. Hartman will have a few runs a game, same with wrs, possibly Evans with sneak as well … I think 15 for estime and 20 for rbsI'm with you. Estime and Diggs were at 12 and 14 carries/game last year. The team averaged 41 carries/game. The highwater mark was 2017 at 43 carries/game.
If you have different assumptions, please throw them out.
- Let's assume we average 40/game for this discussion:
- Estime will average ~ 15/game
- 25 carries/game to be distributed between Payne, Price, Love, Ford
- if evenly distributed, that's ~6/player
- if Payne truly breaks through, then we're looking at another 10+ carrier
- That leaves 5/player to show what they can do.
Not too many singing superstars in that crew 🤣
Couple of great catches by Faison, and great throws from Minchey here
Pretty sure Faison is already on the Patriots draft board.Ok, is Faison the kid that tackled Merriweather during the interview? And is Minchey going to jump Angeli? He’s got sweet ball placement. I just wish for the best with all of them.
Wouldn't be surprised if it happens before the season is over tbhOk, is Faison the kid that tackled Merriweather during the interview? And is Minchey going to jump Angeli? He’s got sweet ball placement. I just wish for the best with all of them.

I believe that Minchey is the more talented thrower of the football, and I believe that he's looked better throwing the ball than Angeli has in the (obviously) little that we've seen. I don't doubt that Angeli is further along at this stage when it comes to playbook knowledge, recognizing defenses, etc. but I think that as Minchey continues to get reps and learns the playbook, that he will eventually take over as QB2.Not trying to debating this, but what are you basing the opinion on? All the reports I've heard is that Angelli is the runaway #2, like not close.
I'd be interested to hear from a source that has a different take because it's been unanimous from everything I've seen.
Days late reading but a person offering differences in opinion isn't raging on the kid... it's 1 perspective, he was highly rated and didn't perform to ranking but doesn't mean he wasn't solidJayson didn't live up to his recruiting rankings but was a quality starter for multiple seasons. Justin probably overperformed his rankings and became a solid rotational player. Both guys gave, what, five years to this program and helped Notre Dame win a lot of football games, graduated and never caused a whiff of trouble ever.
Not sure why these guys need to rag on guys.
I liked Jason A. as a player l, but if you're saying he shouldn't be on the field in goal line or red zone situations as a defensive tackle, that's a bigger indictment on him than the surrounding cast. The problem with Jayson too was the lack of quality of depth around him on the Interior DL like there’s no way he should be anywhere near the field in goal line or red zone defense but go back and watch the Marshall game for instance and he was being walked back multiple times

I’m going to most likely hang myself out to dry but I think we’ll see Angeli win the starter position next year (assuming a transfer isn’t brought in ala Hartman) and will play better than expected. I don’t expect Minchey to overtake him at least next year. It’s just a gut feeling that I hope isn’t related to the street taco I ate yesterday.I believe that Minchey is the more talented thrower of the football, and I believe that he's looked better throwing the ball than Angeli has in the (obviously) little that we've seen. If minchey doesn't over take him next year then only way minchey starts at ND most likely is if Angeli bombs or gets injured.I’m going to most likely hang myself out to dry but I think we’ll see Angeli win the starter position next year (assuming a transfer isn’t brought in ala Hartman) and will play better than expected.
