The Kyle Hamilton podcast with Cam Hart and KJ Wallace mentioned Bertrand specifically as a physical practice player a year or two back. There are some seriously physical guys on both sides of the ball so I don't doubt the fights.

With no context that’s either holding each accountable or just being straight biotches. In todays world though and feelings getting hurt I’m hoping Freeman has it under control.

Yeah, a few "bad citizens." I don't think he was wrong, but it was strongly worded.

They would have two or three guys that were criminals. That just adds to the chemistry of the team. I think Notre Dame is growing because maybe they have some guys that are doing something worthy of a suspension, which creates edge on the football team. You can’t have a football team full of choir boys. You get your butt kicked if you have a team full of choir boys. You’ve got to have a little bit of edge, but the coach has to be the dictator and ultimate ruler.”

I think this team is going to be good, but when I hear the beat talk about "chippiness but it's a good thing", I kind of roll my eyes. That's present on every team and makes it seem they don't have real positive updates to provide.

Show me a team of 85 practicing in the heat for a month who's not chippy.

Love to hear this. Freeman is a former backer, and one of the calling cards of his team's should be physicality. There are several guys on the roster i could see totally fitting this mold.
Find peace and forgiveness in the lockeroom afterwards.

I personally like the chippiness as long as they are friends after. A major college program SHOULD have some of this. They are competitive dudes. My best teams hated to lose a single rep in practice, would talk smack and every once in a while, even fight. My worst teams were all too nice and just went through the motions. Give me the ones who hate to lose in anything. Ever.

It was well documented that the 2019 LSU spring and fall practices were essentially prison brawls. Shouldn't surprise you when Coach O is your "warden".

I was stating that the paid sites hide the info that they're paying subscribers pay them money for. No recruiting site has any "breaking news" or does any reporting that could be an "expose". It's just highly curated info dripped out enough to keep people buying without any substance at all.

A lot of their job seems to be similar to the "psychic" down the street with the tarot cards and palm readings.

Pinkett was right. We went undefeated the season Rees got arrested. We probably needed Theo and Eifert locked up if we wanted to top Alabama though.
