Driskell wrote a very glowing review about Wafle on the IB boards.

He mentioned a huge jump from his sophomore to junior season, and showed a lot more explosiveness on film. He added that he had concerns about Wafle's size, but he's added more more weight and length to his frame. Driskell views him as a Top 150 guy now.

He measured in just under 6'3" at the Junior Day, while also tipping the scales in the 290 range. Arm length is also great - 33 6/8".

I'd agree it probably is a parting of ways looking for someone better. Irvin was processed almost a year to the day. With that said, I agree with you. I was a fan of Wafle and thought he was definitely going to be ready to contribute. Nice pedigree and some physical traits.

Don't think it ever truly will honestly. You'll get some quasi national writer write a hit piece and everyone will move on eventually. People either love or hate ND already. Doubt this changes minds.
