Most of the best colleges aren’t football powerhouses, so there might be something to that line of thinking. Given the state of college football I can see having to deal with everything that is going on being a complete distraction from the academic mission of many institutions. This is going to destroy USC's academic prestige.
- off the record comment from an ND Board of Trustee.
Don’t need to be financially responsible if you’re playing with the state’s money…Most of the best colleges aren’t football powerhouses, so there might be something to that line of thinking. It is also interesting that all of the “elite” football programs at the moment are public schools.
I can’t remember off the top of my head if it’s the same guy, but isn’t he the UGA player, who would be a starter on UGA this year, who played at like 3 different HS in 4 years, and now is looking to leave (as a starter) the 2 time defending national champ, for a pay day.
So USC met his money demands.
Get use to it.Pathetic their entire starting DL and one backup is gonna be transfers
From what I've read, the dude is kind of a head case.I can’t remember off the top of my head if it’s the same guy, but isn’t he the UGA player, who would be a starter on UGA this year, who played at like 3 different HS in 4 years, and now is looking to leave (as a starter) the 2 time defending national champ, for a pay day.

Sounds like going to Los Angeles is the best environment for someone like him! From what I've read, the dude is kind of a head case.
Apparently skipped practice to go to Mexico and wasn't well liked in the locker room, and is generally pretty lazy despite his talent.
Yeah, I don't see this working out the way $C thinks it will.
Hopefully it’ll be more of the same in the USC locker room. From what I've read, the dude is kind of a head case.

Is there any backstory to why Mike Bohn resigned? He'd only been there three or four years. Seems to have stabilized things...

Yeah that was the front, but it sounds like he ran a sloppy shop in the athletic department.Don’t know how true, but I saw a tagline that it is due to health issues.

Why??? Don’t we want our rivals to be strong and then lose to ND? Why have a reason other than ND being good for their losing to us.Let's hope they have teeth
Sure. USC being good makes it better when we beat them. But I don't really really care. I just want them to suffer (and lose to us). Why??? Don’t we want our rivals to be strong and then lose to ND? Why have a reason other than ND being good for their losing to us.
That's where I'm at. I love beating rivals when they're good, but enjoy it just as much when ND hammers them when they're bad.Sure. USC being good makes it better when we beat them. But I don't really really care. I just want them to suffer (and lose to us).
No, SCum can die a horrible deathWhy??? Don’t we want our rivals to be strong and then lose to ND? Why have a reason other than ND being good for their losing to us.
I think you're flying solo on this one. I want them to suffer, don't care how. Why??? Don’t we want our rivals to be strong and then lose to ND? Why have a reason other than ND being good for their losing to us.
I want all of our rivals to be as weak as possible. It'll help us on the field and in recruiting.I think you're flying solo on this one. I want them to suffer, don't care how.
Agreed. We got enough dragons to slay. Don't need SC up there too.I want all of our rivals to be as weak as possible. It'll help us on the field and in recruiting.
