Agreed. His film is actually very good. His change of direction for an LB looks elite to me. He's listed as an athlete and also plays WR, but he plays much faster and looks more fluid on D. I think this kid would be a fantastic addition to this class. Why anyone would care about his star rating and offer list now when the ratings will be changing at least a half dozen times before signing day is beyond me.So not to get sidetracked in this thread about anything but Rezac...
But after watching his film and seeing his testing numbers, I like this kid a lot and see why the staff would as well. It's rare to find athletes being used to set the edge on a defense and play single high safety.
Stars only matter as a composite metric. No one should care about what an individual's rating is. Either the film and one-on-one evaluations justify the offer or they don't. I don't see how anyone can look at this kid's film and say he's not worthy of an offer.
