I live in upstate NY. No one wants this shit. Yesterday was a major seasonal depression day
No thank you to the desert. I love being in SW Florida where there is boating, beaches, warm sun all year round, great fishing, seafood and freedom loving state. The long-term masking in COVID was ridiculous in Chicago. Thank god for DeSantis. It also can kill you, trust me.
I'll take the SW over everywhere else because of the lack of dreariness. The sun shines on 330-340 days a year in Scottsdale. My last month in Chicago before moving here had 2-3 sunny days and they were cold af. The gray days of winter are soul suckers. And add to that, 7 months of the year the trees are leafless and everything looks dead.
But the weather in Michiana IS great in September & half of October when it's not raining. A sunny day between 65-70 for a game at ND is HEAVEN. That's my window to come home for games. Besides that, it's too humid / cold / rainy / mosquito / fly / tornado / pothole infested for me.
So the question is... Do you move to the SE to breath soup and dodge hurricanes, move to Phoenix / Vegas and find shade or move to San Diego and complain about nothing but the cost of living?
My wife and I did our honeymoon in Scottsdale. We didn't wanna leave. Biggest complaint I had was the time difference, especially in football season. Perhaps when I'm older I will need to be a few hours behind so I don't have to try to stay up late.It also can kill you, trust me.

Ludwig seems to be a combo of family and ND mishandling things. The mishandling things was the tipping point in favor of staying. Luke seems 100% family
Agree to disagree. If he really wanted to be at Notre Dame, he would be there now.I think it was mostly how it was mishandled. Swarbrick's letter belies what happened. ND Admin screwed the pooch. A savvy guy like Ludwig could tell if they were squimish on the buyout then other things bad would likely happen if he were to join. He is not an idiot.
Not if we wouldn’t pony up for the buyout.Agree to disagree. If he really wanted to be at Notre Dame, he would be there now.
Grew up on Ohio - moved to South Carolina in 2012 - moving back to Ohio this spring. I hate the weather down here. May through September is absolutely unbearable heat and humidity. I can’t wait to get back to having seasons and being able to enjoy June/July again.I live in upstate NY. No one wants this shit. Yesterday was a major seasonal depression day

When I left Chicago it was because of the cold AND the grey weather. Everyday was fucking overcast. Cottonballs in the sky blocking the sun. Screw that.
When it gets too warm I jump in the pool. Problem solved.

Lot of great places out there. I just got done building my house in SE Tennessee. 11 acres on the river. Building permit, $25. No building inspections, only state electrical and septic. God’s country. Most of my beach friends from Stop 2 in Michigan City went south to the beaches between Tampa and Fort Myers. Unfortunately the largest group were all on Fort Myers Beach and got wiped out by Ian. Enjoy your humidity and constant threat of that shiit happening.
We've got a place in Carlsbad to enjoy whenever we want. I have a swim up bar in my backyard that were in basically everyday from Easter thru Halloween and I can leave my house right now and be on the beach in Puerto Penasco, MX in about 3.5 hrs...
And I'm going to see both the Sox and the Cubs this week and eat at Portillo's or Lou's afterwards.
I’d love a summer home in upstate New York. Went to Letchworth state park during the summer several years back and it was absolutely gorgeous. Not hot either, that place is a gem!I live in upstate NY. No one wants this shit. Yesterday was a major seasonal depression day
Summer is great. Fall is good too! Winter is just awful lolI’d love a summer home in upstate New York. Went to Letchworth state park during the summer several years back and it was absolutely gorgeous. Not hot either, that place is a gem!
Bama can, and does get miserably hot. Fortunately it’s been mild the several summers. That and the constant threat of tornadoes is an adjustment. I miss the summers in Indiana where you can appreciate a good thunderstorm.
I’m a native Minnesotan living in Atlanta. Frankly, I miss the weather of the Midwest. Having four seasons is underrated.
I grew up in Upstate NY. Moved to Louisiana. Would make that trade for the weather any day.I live in upstate NY. No one wants this shit. Yesterday was a major seasonal depression day

Uhhhh what? I lived just north of Boston for a year and winter was hell. It started in October and ended in May and the snow never stopped.I live in Massachusetts, which is low key the best weather place. Magnificent summers. Winters rarely get all that cold. Fall is glorious. On the ocean and close to the mountains.
Only downside is it’s dark at 4:00 in December and January. So we just start drinking earlier.
tbf alot of ND "fans" are total dipshitsOn a side note...he was extra arrogant towards ND fans on the latest podcast.
No argument...but it's comical to me that they are the ones to pick out the questions and then they proceed to take a dump on the authors of those questions. Probably paying customers too.tbf alot of ND "fans" are total dipshits
its usually a mix of subscribers and then also no name Twitter accounts trying to take shots at PristerNo argument...but it's comical to me that they are the ones to pick out the questions and then they proceed to take a dump on the authors of those questions. Probably paying customers too.
