Yea how is this any different than Kelly leaving? Actually, its arguably worse. Not a good look for ND or Freeman.

But I hope Freeman gets a proven winner. But I think he might go with Parker or Hiestand as possible internal hire. Who knows.

He stuck around when Kelly bolted. This was a pretty good step for his career. It'll probably lead to a P5 or NFL job, it has for most of the other past OCs.

My opinion: This is NOT a good thing for Notre Dame's continuity and preparation for the upcoming season; Tommy is a MUCH better than ordinary OC and creator; the Bama offensive staff watched the film and said "WOW! Can you imagine what those plays would have done with OUR QBs and WRs!!!" --- and Saban agrees with me.
