He looks like Jimmy G
If you don’t tell him he is going to start he probably doesn’t come.Goolsby is not a fan of him being assumed the starter if he comes. "If he's so great, why isn't he going to the NFL?" type vibes. He's kinda a ride or die chick for Buchner. I kinda get it.
He is going to the NFL tho,,….. this time next year after winning the Heisman and NattyGoolsby is not a fan of him being assumed the starter if he comes. "If he's so great, why isn't he going to the NFL?" type vibes. He's kinda a ride or die chick for Buchner. I kinda get it.
Because of the Sinclair CB?No info, pure guess he’s probably on campus now…
Because of the Sinclair CB?
Because of the Sinclair CB?
Goolsby seems like a meathead. I personally don't put a great deal of value into his opinions.Goolsby is not a fan of him being assumed the starter if he comes. "If he's so great, why isn't he going to the NFL?" type vibes. He's kinda a ride or die chick for Buchner. I kinda get it.
FWIW, Loy has said that he's expecting news on the 5thOn the 247 podcast, Prister said, “Sam Hartman will be playing for ND…expect it by the end of the week.”
O’Malley responded, “What day is today? Tuesday? I’m lost with Christmas…”
Prister responded, “Tuesday, so expect it in the next 72 hours…”
So Friday according to that conversation?
Or he is just confident he would win out. I would rather have the guy that is confident in his ability to win the job then someone that wants the job handed to him.there is no way there is a competition if he comes. Anyone in his position would not come into a competition or their position if they have only one year left and have several options. Any say of a competition has to be just smoke.
remember remember the 5th of - JanuaryFWIW, Loy has said that he's expecting news on the 5th
Yes, exactly. He is the starter, barring injury, from the day he registers. No competition. Why would he waste his time and risk his future in a prospective QB battle? Buchner knows he’s the backup at this point.there is no way there is a competition if he comes. Anyone in his position would not come into a competition or their position if they have only one year left and have several options. Any say of a competition has to be just smoke.
Agreed. MF could call it an open competition if he wants, but it would be a "competition" in name only. Even if TB "beat out" Hartman leading up to the season, there is ZERO chance he is actually named the starter. Can you imagine the intense "fire" that MF would have to face if he started TB over Hartman (the career passing leader in the ACC) and he ends up turning the ball over repeatedly and we lose?there is no way there is a competition if he comes. Anyone in his position would not come into a competition or their position if they have only one year left and have several options. Any say of a competition has to be just smoke.
I just looked about the career passing leaders in NCAA history and assuming he starts and stays healthy he should finish somewhere between 2nd and 4th all time in NCAA history.
He would need 2800 passing yards to get 4th, 3700 to get 3rd and 4100 to get 2nd
IN 2021 he threw for 4,228
IN 2022 he threw for 3,701
Don't let old man P see Tony Rice's completion percentage...Yeah, but Prister is worried about his accuracy

TBF, Hartman will throw it up to his receiver and let him make a play. Not every single pass is perfectly in stride, maybe that's his complaint? I love how aggressive Hartman is and how good he is at identifying single coverage or identifying when a receiver has leverage on the coverage. He has a keen eye for that.Yeah, but Prister is worried about his accuracy
Doesn't Wake take a lot of downfield chances? Surely Prister is considering that in his accuracy assessment.Yeah, but Prister is worried about his accuracy
