Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked to see him sign with OU. I know his mom said it was down to Oregon and ND, but if it really was down to one of those two, why not just sign already?

Loy with a nugget. He said ND would never be the ones to initiate contact after being done like that, but if there was a mea culpa and apology in place, they would give him a call or two.

Pretty significant since we know they've been in contact.

He's a pit on a bone. This is why I think he's gonna be a great coach. He just wants it more. To me at least. Not to mention. I really believe that he wants to prove a point. I really think that once he gets his feet under him. He can be special.

Actually if there was ever a time for those “sources within the Gug” to explain themselves it’s now. So Loy and the rest of those guys are probably getting the truth now for a change

I think the only person Peyton dumped harder today than ND and the mom was the girlfriend. That money is not going back to Texas but will be spent on some Duckettes in Eugene.

Curious as to who the "rest of those guys are". I don't follow the sites much but used to be on ISD years ago. Always liked Mike Frank because he's pretty level headed. I know many on here think he's overly negative and would rather listen to someone like Loy, who seems all sunshine and unicorns (and bullshit). Who else is out there? Driskell?

Always liked mike frank bc he is as pessimistic as me and grouchy old man as me. Where i gave up on paying sites was the omnipresent lie they give of after this is over boy will we have a story for you and you never get the story or if you do its a him and haw around the truth and just glanced over and moved on with no room for follow ups

Every person a reporter would normally source in a recruitment was told (and pushing for that matter) it was Oklahoma. I don’t get where people think the truth was hidden.

Here’s the problem with all that. All these people are trying to get into the mind of a teenager. On top of being a dumb ass teenager (my kid is super cool/ smart/talented but yes he was still a dumb ass in some ways) the ones as talented as Bowen are having huge sums of money thrown at them.

Anyone familiar with human development is going to tell you that a teenager in that position is 100% primed to make a short term decision i.e. take the bag and run.
