Wow 10 picks as a sophomore is impressive.

Would rather he be 6' 180 but if he can cover he can cover

he is like 16 too, so while he might grow significantly there still might be some height he can add next two years. certainly is going to bulk up

Didn’t see a report but Singer added him to the visit list with Peyton for the B&G Game.

I was wondering about that as well. Peyton is 6', but Eli is only listed as 5'9". It would seem a challenge for covering taller receivers, but Pacman Jones was only 5'10" and maybe he isn't done growing?

Eli says he's 5-10/170

I know he isn’t coming here and this seems petty but I think ND needs to pull the offer.

They don’t need to speed another minute wasting time on this family.
They can do the latter with out doing the former. Just cease contact.

You are selling a product. If they will list you spend the time. Just need to figure out how much time you spend.

The appropriate product for this client is fresh feces and I will make him one hell of a deal

With all due respect, this would be absolutely ridiculous and unfair to Eli.

Having been judged countless times based on my own brother’s poor actions and decision, I found it so annoying to be labeled for that. It was frustrating to have to “prove” I wasn’t the same as my sibling just because we shared the same parents. It’s completely not fair this kid to yank an offer because his brother made a decision not to join this class.

Carry on.

You're right, but you have to agree that there isn't a single CFB coach, other than Lanning, who isn't going to look at a verbal commitment from this kid with a serious amount of skepticism.

The kicker will be when he gets processed out of Oregon's 2024 class, because of some late P4P flips.

You’d also be dealing with his family.

Peyton did this in part for Eli. Eli’s favorite team is Oregon and he is not an elite recruit on his own. Oregon leveraged this no doubt. So no, if Eli even played 1% into this I don’t want him.

Don’t have to pull his offer but ND is not going to put much effort to recruit him if at all.

And I agree with all of this. I’m just saying it’s not fair to the kid to potentially be penalized for the decision his brother made.

Bro pulled what he pulled probably because of what his Dad was saying based on Dad's reaction.

The same people are gonna be in little bros ear whispering the same words.

Anyone who isn't concerned about his recruitment at this point is doing it for emotional reasons.

Might not be fair but life isn’t fair and there are millions of examples of people having to pay for the sins of their family and in this case I put more the blame on the father
