If they are waiting on Pratt there had better have been solid back channel confirmation on him,… you can’t slow play others and not get Pratt.

Also sounds like Hartman is going to have a big NIL payday somewhere. This is about to get funny.

Who has it gone well for? Elite QBs are at a premium and they know what schools are needy. They can take their time and do their due diligence without fear of spots filling up.

Loy also made a comment about not wanting Card to visit during bowl practices. Sounds like they want to get through bowls so that you have a shot at Pratt + guys not visiting during practice with Buchner (however you want to interpret that)

Never saw it with Hartman. Assuming the Florida stuff with him comes to fruition

Hartman always felt like a high risk high reward type of play for me. Wake Forest relied a ton on the jump ball and they did a great job of drawing interference regularly. I would have loved Hartman with ND had Claypool, Boykin, and McKinley. For the current crop of receivers, a QB like Hartman might not do as well and we need a more accurate guy.

If we had already landed McNamara, that means we did well? Lol most this board hates that idea.
The question was "Who has it gone well for?". I didn't say we or I wanted McNamara, but can you tell me this transfer window hasn't gone well for them (Iowa), esp by their standards on offense?

I mean they lost one of the best players on the team. Multiple WRs. Sure they landed an average QB and a TE that somethings seems off about. They always have good TEs.

If would be like if we landed Card and All but lost Sneed, Styles and Thomas. Going well!

Prospects are supposed to consider no one else but us for it to be done correctly
Not what I'm saying at all. But let's be honest, hasn't Tommy shown this strategy of putting all his eggs in one basket? This shouldn't be hard. We should be an extremely attractive option for a transfer QB.

He recruited multiple QBs the entirety of this cycle outside a few month period when Dante Moore silently committed. Even then, he was pushing for Carr at the same time. The putting eggs in one basket thing is a myth that has been disproven.

I think ND will get someone, it's just a matter of who. If they somehow don't, then yes, that is yet another bad look, but I think the chances of that happening are practically zero.

Merriweather, Colzie, and Thomas doesn't seem like a ton of deviation from the above in terms of receiver type.

You are approaching Troll/ignore territory. I hope you aren't as miserable in your daily life as you are on here. If you are, I feel sorry for you. Try saying something positive, you know... to mix it up a bit. This shouldn't be hard.

Height wise maybe, but Merriweather and Colzie feel awfully different from those guys. They have size but I don't see them as boxing defenders out type of receivers. More speed and huge catch radiuses. Thomas definitely fits that mold though, agree.
