Exactly Pops.....I'd make them fire me.
I feel like putting Nick Rolovich and Art Briles in the same sentence isn't quite right, unless Rolo did something beyond making the big fuss about not getting vaxed. That's a world of a difference between what he did and Art Briles allowed to happen to the women of Baylor
It’s not that he should head to Liberty, but Tom Allen is a pretty random name with a pretty lackluster last couple years for them to randomly latch onto. For whatever reason, there’s smoke there.Exactly Pops.....I'd make them fire me.
Bingo. Makes absolutely no sense. Get fired then go get your next job. He's going to walk away from the $20 million he's still owed in exchange for the Liberty job?
He's a shithead and a tool, not a straight up monster. So probably a good fit for Liberty, yeah
Jerry Falwell University gonna Jerry Falwell University. For liberty being such a religious university, I can’t see how they would hire either of these two and I shocked that Freeze was there. Just blows my mind.

His good assistants all get hired away and he’s a defensive guy totally dependent on an OC to come in and magic up some offense. As a very casual IU fan I don’t think he’s going to right the ship.Bingo. Makes absolutely no sense. Get fired then go get your next job.
I have been noticing a lot of these recently fired coaches or guys on the hot seat, like Allen, had their programs in good places in 2019. Then 2020 happened. IU goes 8-5 in 2019, made it through pandemic ball at 6-2, then it all falls off.
I assume in addition to Covid they're dealing with NIL and The Portal now same as everyone else.
Liberty being a religious university is not the same as ND being a Catholic university. The founders of Liberty were televangelists, not a religious order who traveled across the world to the middle of nowhere to build a college on request of the local bishop. For liberty being such a religious university, I can’t see how they would hire either of these two and I shocked that Freeze was there. Who paid themselves (and their pool boy) millions of dollars from the university.Liberty being a religious university is not the same as ND being a Catholic university. Would they want someone with HC experience? Candle from Toledo, Helton from WKU?His good assistants all get hired away and he’s a defensive guy totally dependent on an OC to come in and magic up some offense. As a very casual IU fan I don’t think he’s going to right the ship.

I have no idea. Allen was an internal promotion when Kevin Wilson wore out his welcome and gave them an excuse to fire him.Would they want someone with HC experience? Candle from Toledo, Helton from WKU?

Arrogance? Stupidity?Split Zone Duo said they botched the process and were leading themselves to believe Dan Mullen, names like that were possible
The players have voiced their support for the interim guy.Bill Clark to Trent Dilfer is like falling off a cliff.
If Cinci is in play, that is a no brainer for me.
Long story, but my Dad once spent a night out in Cinci with Deion (allegedly). If the story is even 1/2 true I can confirm he LOVES the city.

I believe they have newish facilities. I think it's a far better job than Colorado. Almost all of the recent coaches have had success and they are moving into the Big 12 that won't have Texas and Oklahoma soon. They have some new(er) facilities don't they? Not that is really matters but he isn't Cincy with Under armour and he is personally, correct? Seems to be a better gig on the surface than Colorado.
Yes. Improved facilities and resources. Just in time for the move to the Big 12.I believe they have newish facilities. I think it's a far better job than Colorado. Almost all of the recent coaches have had success and they are moving into the Big 12 that won't have Texas and Oklahoma soon.
