It's basically a history of the Lakers centered around the Buss family.

Obviously Kobe is going to come into it a few episodes in. There are ten total. The Showtime Magic/Riley stuff in the beginning is great.
Does it include Jeanie posing with Playboy?

Redeem team was a good watch… on a completely separate note going through the vault and came across the absolute beat down ND put on Texas in 2015… we all know what happens the next week and the following year but Malik Zaire looked the part for one game.

I wish Redeem Team would have covered more of the 2002 FIBA games in Indianapolis. USA came in 6th. That should have been an indicator that 2004 Athens Olympics was going to be an issue, which it was, coming in third. USA didn't win gold in the 1998 FIBA games either but still got gold in the 2000 Olympics.

The beating they took in 2004 to Puerto Rico still gets me a bit boiled even today. Just horrible.

I started rewatching Eastbound and Down. I'm through three seasons.

I've been calling my kids "motherfucking offspring" and referring to my wife as "Big Cannons" as only Kenny Powers would.

Anybody watched this Netflix 10-part series on Jeffrey Dahmer? I finished it last night and it was definitely worth the watch. Well done and gave a lot of insight into what Dahmer was actually like instead of just the guy you saw in the news. I always knew he was weird and an oddball, but HOLY &*%$ he was a sick puppy. There was nothing really scary about him. He was just a weird, twisted loner who NEVER fit in and who eventually just stopped even trying to be normal or resist his weird fantasies. He was that weird, creepy dude from high school who exceeded all expectations, so to speak. It was funny to see Molly Ringwald as Dahmer's stepmom in this. She did a great job, but it's hard not to still see her as the fat-lipped 16-year-old in 16 Candles or The Breakfast Club.

Excellent. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. First two episodes didn't really do it for me but I stuck with it and glad I did.

If you have not seen it…

Netflix, Unsolved Mysteries UFO’s in West Michigan

Before you knock it, watch it. It’s absolutely mind blowing. One of the best UFO stories I’ve ever seen. I’m a lifelong UFO denier and anti conspiracy kind of guy. This one is nuts and has me re-examining things.

300+ 911 calls in one night in multiple counties, cops, pilots, and weather stations are hard to deny.

The one before it about the train tracks was good,… I guess Netflix left out an Ax was found right next to the victim but the police misplaced it before it could be tested,……….

Anyway. They desperately needed the narrator. It’s not really unsolved mysteries without one

I just finished "The Watcher" that was good.

Now I'm watching Fox and Friends and drooling over Ainsley Earnhardt. 👍🤤

Black Bird on apple was good. The story itself wasn’t really anything special, but the two lead performances were really strong. I like Taron Egerton more every time I see him in something.

Still waiting on another Egerton entry in the Kingsman series.

The King's Man was entertainingly weird, but meh overall.

The Golden Circle wasn't as good as the first movie, but it was still good fun, at least.

That ship may have sailed with Egerton's pivot to drama, though.

No. Any good?
The original 1930 version is pretty good. It's a bit corny and the acting is a bit much... think 2nd rate British theatre ham actors, but it's a classic and definitely worth the watch. It was groundbreaking for its time. The '79 version stars John Boy from the Waltons, and is supposed to be excellent and won a Golden Globe and an Emmy, but I haven't watched it yet.

Watching it now,… very good by half way in
I finished it last night. Very well done and the best of the three versions by far, IMHO. That battle scene around mid-way through with the tanks and flame throwers was brutal. War is indeed hell.

I think Hollywood has struggled with WW1 because it’s so bleak and nightmarish that it’s hard for them to come up with anything other than ‘war is hell’ that fits into the backdrop.

Watched it last night. Didn't like the first part as it seemed extremely choppy. Pretty decent from there on out.
