I condemn attacks based on politics
I condemn violence against families of politicians regardless of party
I condemn violence even if committed by a person who may vote for a person I voted for
I condemn violence committed by anyone REGARDLESS OF THE RACE OF THE VICTIM OR SUSPECT
I condemn violence in any way, not just when it is convenient to push my morals above those with whom I disagree
All that being said I’m still a little confused about this specific situation. What I’ve read so far seems strange and I look forward to understanding the true motive here and whether it’s as some believe. I withhold judgment until I understand the facts, and if this was a true conservative that was attacking Mr Pelosi because of his or Nancy Pelosi’s politics, then I will STILL CONDEMN THE ATTACK. Why does everyone have to have an immediate take based on partial and incomplete information? It’s so frustrating and if those snap judgments are wrong, the person who was foolish never comes back to admit that they jumped to a conclusion and apologize for painting with a broad brush. There are so many instances of situations that look bad and when more info and context comes to light, the general opinion changes
