#FreemanisanicecoachIf LSU hangs on here, BK will get a win against a top 10 Team. Had 2 such wins at ND. #FreeTheNDFootballProgram #NDcompetesAcademically#MonkMalloy
I did blame him at first, but listening to why he left, makes sense. It's the powers that be at ND that is responsible for keeping the Football program down for all of these years. He can still choke on a dick
They would have because MF would have been running the D, not a line coach learning with just a few weeks to learn.
Yes, let's not throw the baby out with the bath water. Lot's of variables in play this year, including pretty much a new coaching staff. Even these guys need to learn to gel some and be in sync. It doesn't happen overnight. Freeman will get it figured out.
Wisconsins DC who took over seems to be doing just fine. Either you're a head coach or you're not.
I'm surprised he stayed around to carry ND for as long as he did. He gave us most of his prime. We should be grateful.BK about to take down a top 10 team. Brian Kelly is lazy as shit at recruiting. But he doesn’t really have to be a big recruiter at LSU. We know he is a great HC. He is going to win a national title at LSU.
I think he got Lazy because he couldn't get them through admissions. When there is roughly 25 Five stars per class ,and 1-5 can get through admissions.....Limits the pool of elite football players. That's why we are where we are.BK about to take down a top 10 team. It shouldn’t surprise anybody! BK is a very good coach and the LSU program is a top five program in terms of facilities recent titles won and fan support. His move is a no-brainerSeeing BK successful at LSU makes me want to vomit.
Are we talking about top 10 teams at the end of the season? That's the relevant metric. And the SEC teams are regularly ranked too highly anyway, so of course he would get more 'top 10' wins.If LSU hangs on here, BK will get a win against a top 10 Team. Yep. He has an overtime loss and crushed northwestern and purdue. Not the disaster that Freeman has been. They lost literally last week. To a team who had lost 4 straight by double digits lol.
You're ready to make that determination after 2 games?Wisconsins DC who took over seems to be doing just fine. Either you're a head coach or you're not.

BYU, UNC and Marshall game. I love tiny sample sizes too.
It’s the fact that now our program may be ruined and we were at least competitive under Kelly. All I care about is nd and while I didn’t love Kelly he was what kept us relevant for over 10 years. Now we on on the downward spiral to being nothing more than a mid major school with a tv deal & we allowed him to leave. At least if he sucked there we could say “ well he was on his way down” but that isn’t the case.It shouldn’t surprise anybody! I’m waiting for a tweet from Bryon Driskell Confessing to his pathological hate for Kelly. And that clouded his judgment on both Kelly and Tommy Rees.
🤣🤣🤣
He started 0-3. He just lost to Stanford. Stop making excuses.
So it is BOT and Admissions keeping down the Football Program. Shit. It’s the fact that now our program may be ruined and we were at least competitive under Kelly. Side point, in this thread, but it's not about who can get through admissions any more - a lot more than 20 percent of five stars can get in to Notre Dame in this day and age - it's about the fact that A: We don't pay upfront NIL to recruits and B: We expect our student-athletes to be students and take real majors and a lot of these kids aren't interested in that, so they aren't interested in Notre Dame.I think he got Lazy because he couldn't get them through admissions. I'm willing to do that but will the BOT/Admissions/Upfront NIL at ND ever truly compete?Again, people need to give Freeman the opportunity to bring in his own OC and a quality grad transfer QB. Tommy boy royally f*cked him with a shit QB room and Jack didn't allow him to hire his own OC. Hopefully he can snag a Hudson Card and Phil Longo, Warren Ruggiero, or Garrett Riley.
And we will never Win until we adapt. Is what it isSide point, in this thread, but it's not about who can get through admissions any more - a lot more than 20 percent of five stars can get in to Notre Dame in this day and age - it's about the fact that A: We don't pay upfront NIL to recruits and B: We expect our student-athletes to be students and take real majors and a lot of these kids aren't interested in that, so they aren't interested in Notre Dame.
Long run, it's their loss, but yes it limits the pool of elite football players. BK decided to go to a school where that wasn't a problem.
Arts and Letters is what 90 percent of the football team majored in in the Holtz and pre Holtz days. What happened to that?Side point, in this thread, but it's not about who can get through admissions any more - a lot more than 20 percent of five stars can get in to Notre Dame in this day and age - it's about the fact that A: We don't pay upfront NIL to recruits and B: We expect our student-athletes to be students and take real majors and a lot of these kids aren't interested in that, so they aren't interested in Notre Dame.

The administration definitely needs to be more lenient with undergrad transfers.I'm willing to do that but will the BOT/Admissions/Upfront NIL at ND ever truly compete?
I don't think Nick Saban could turn this program into a National Title contender with ND in its own way.
Freeman would have signed 2 top 10 players at the 2 most important positions in the game. ND is always behind the times
