Wisky needs Jack Coan back….
Leipold might be a better overall HC but I think Aranda meshes better with the program as a whole.Lance Leipold
With the changing media rights landscape the Big 10 is surely more attractive than the Big 12.Why would Aranda leave Baylor for Wisconsin? Wisconsin could very well go the way of Nebraska.

Coached at Wisconsin. Wisconsin, B1G money could be significantly more than Baylor, new Big 12 money if they wanted to. Aranda is a weird cat anyways.
FWIW I don’t think he would, but it’d at least pitch it if Wisconsin has boosters that are serious
Their whole program has always recruited pretty poorly compared to their on field product. Lots of high ceiling three stars in those Wisconsin fieldsI think Leonhard would potentially be a mistake. Defensive recruiting has not been good. He’d have to really sell a plan for the offense moving forward to convince me to give him the job. Wisconsin has 4 total 4 star guys on defense on the entire roster. Leonhard is a good DC. But he’s not Jesus. He can’t just turn diamonds in the rough into dominating 3 year starters indefinitely. The defense is not elite this year. I’m not too sure how good it even really is. Schedule gonna get tougher in the future of the B1G. Potentially no B1G West division to trumpet. Wisconsin has a tough question on what their true ceiling and floor is.

Yes indeed, we might have dodged a bullet 😆
I hope he does have the internet, we are in the 21st century 😆I wonder if O’Brien has any internet. He would probably do ok there.

WiskyQUESTION - Which is better program- Wisky or Iowa or Purdue???
Colorado should hire Chryst.
Hiring Dorrell is proably proof they've had some sips already. It's likely a destination job for a guy like Chryst. For younger guys it is probably a stepping stone job. They could also look at Harsin.Solid hire but Colorado needs to sip on reality a bit. 7-5 or 8-4 is probably the best they can be.
Do mid season firings make sense??? How good is their recruiting class? Is it about morale for the Program?

Consistently going to bowl games for them would be fine.
Yet another team that moved to a conference and ultimately was never heard from again outside of a blip on the radar or two, if that.
College coaching is nuts. People are waaaaay too quick to pull the plug. Unless you're a top program, you should follow the Iowa model.

That's why I maintain the two best jobs in college football are in Ames and Iowa City.Iowa is realistic though. They know they will have some above average seasons, they will have some OK seasons and they will have some bad seasons. They understand that from the beginning. These other schools get delusional and think they are more than what they are and shoot themselves in the foot by pulling the trigger to fast.
Unfortunately though the coaches have done this to their selves In someways. They have two good seasons and a bigger job opens up they jump without hesitation for more money only to realize most of the times they weren’t ready for the spotlight jobs.
