Singer doesn’t live in South Bend and has no background in football analysis. Those are facts that can be weighed in certain discussion (RE: Buchner’s skill).
He does, on occasion, talk to recruiting sources and interview prospects. Also to be weighed in other discussions.

My expectation is that Freeman wants the most athletic on the field.. Kelly’s style of playing the safe bet aways frustrated me.. just fuc*^ing MAKE THE ATHLETIC KID A SAFE BET!!! Stop making excuses for shiddee coaching.
Having Liufau at the WILL elevates that group alone too.

There may be turnovers, seems like a foregone conclusion at this point. But, Freeman wants to run the ball at will! I’m gonna choose to lean on our Defense, and MF’s desire to run. I’ll say we win by 10. ND 65 (FUCK Michigan), OSU 22!

Immense amount of disrespect to us here.. Week 1 is always a tough slate to bet but a consistent top 5 team getting 15 points on the road?
Just feels like a ND hater trap.. new QB, new HC, a bit of turnover..
Yet.. the QB is remaining in the same system he’s been in.. familiar with the team.
The HC has been in the locker room for a full season now & the players LOVE him.. that goes a long way in the 4th quarter.
There’s ELITE talent all over this roster.. I see so much of our pansy fans on twitter accepting defeat already.. it’s pathetic.
We have a top OL with Tyree that can take it to the house on any play, Diggs that is reliable as a back & pass catcher.. Everyone will be flipping out abt Estime the first time he runs someone over.
Lorenzo is going to BLOW UP… watch.
Best TEs in the country.. I’m repeating myself but it’s like people forget what’s on the roster & how much competition there is.. and the mentality MF is fostering.
In reality it kind of hinges on Buchner.. if he can run the offense, be a legit playmaker & make the throws, we can win this game & every other game on the schedule.. there are plenty enough pieces around him.

Podcast. Goolsby essentially called him nuts. To Singers credit, he did say he thinks Buchner is the best guy on the roster right now after Goolsby disagreed with his assessment of Buchner. He’s a pretty big Angeli fan. He also called Keeley somewhat of a loss and they went on to say it’s understandable bc ND sometimes pressures kids to commit too early. It was an annoying show honestly.

I saw that interview and Simger was saying he is not as high on Buchner as others are and he is higher on Angeli than others.
I don’t recall him using “mediocre”.

Come on all the B&G reporters are pretty bad, the only guys I take seriously are Hyde, Burlage & Goolsby. They are typically straight up with most things & call the other young guys out on bad takes.
Look at the preview prior to Buchner being named the starter, they were certain that it was suddenly a full on QB competition between TB & Pyne for watching them throw to GA’s. 😂

I'm drinking the Kool-Ade, but not the entire pitcher!
I like the fact that this is MF's first true game at HC. He's had time to plan and not have all of the distractions that he had after getting promoted.
Time to review film and game plan on both sides of the ball.
Given it's opening game on the road at OSU, focus from everyone should be sharp leading up to and during the game.
While it's hard to keep the emotions cranked up for an entire game, I think it helps our lads get off to a good start.
