IF we add JA, Hanafin, Minich, Edwards, Love, and a good QB like Minchey, that would certainly soften the blow for losing Keeley and Bowen.
If irishenvy gave out positivity awards I'd give you one.....last time I checked Keeley & Bowen are committed to ND.

I think it's good that we have a staff now that seems to do just that.

For most fans it all ends with the verbal commitment, then its onto the next one.

The profession doesn't allow this, to the point that you have to recruit your verbals even harder than the other guys. As Nikki Syxx from Motley Crue once said, "You have to date your wife."

Loy on 247 board said "Lots of A&M smoke lately", with no further elaboration.

May be going 0 for 2 on the last two longtime ND O targets.

Btw this is why I said at the time it was dumb AF to let Sedrick Irvin go before you had another bird in hand. But I'm glad they got Edwards who can play WR or RB, and I'm sure it'll all work itself out.

Anyone on this class could decommit.
It's already happened this cycle.

The other side of the coin is that they can flip others INTO the class between now and December/February. In fact, they just did with Dylan Edwards. Hmmm...

so A&M is the other school then that Love was talking about when Ryan on an IB podcast recently said he was told by Love it was down to our irish and another school that he wouldn't mention

Loy just put out an update stating he thinks it will be A&M, but that ND sources feel confident and A&M sources feel confident. Sounds like an Amorion Walker situation all over again except for the fact he's not committed yet.

Nobody goes to A&M unless Texas rejects you or you’re getting a bag. Sorry, TAMU just isn’t relevant.

Walker (and Moore) were stone faced lying to the staff. I don’t think we’ve got any indication of that from Love.

For the Irish, they have gained more optimism in the past 48 hours based on everything they have been told.

Again, Notre Dame has every reason to believe it’s them based on everything they have been told, but the Aggies were able to get him on campus twice over a two-month span, they laid out the red carpet and it’s hard to shake that sources outside of both of these staffs believe Texas A&M is the team to beat as well.

It seems Loy forgets that Love also visited ND twice in a two month span, TAMU was just more recent.

We’ll see how this plays out but I trust Loy’s gut unfortunately

Loy certainly hasn’t been alone at calling out the bag man on this one. It was mentioned on ISD Power Hour, Sampson on the II podcast, hinted at by Roberts on IB and haven’t listened to Singer yet bc that usually takes a few whiskey drinks and a deep breath first. So to me that sounds like borderline consensus.

His info just seems a little contradictory. What happened in the last 48 hours that caused them to be optimistic? Mendoza is matching their bag?

Not gonna lie, our apparent willingness to get outbagged for a bunch of top recruits is increasingly frustrating.
I get being cautious and playing by the rules, and I actually think our long-game approach to NIL is the smarter play for most of these kids.
But at some point you have to get in the game, or you just wind up a loser.

The Long-Game only works if Michigan OSU and Penn State continue to see it your way and in a two party country your northern B1G schools hold firm with a different alternative. Especially since that is your most likely future destination. It would almost seem like this is a semi formal strategy but for the impending admission of the full pay to play condoms
