Because of this jackass, that seat is going to go to a sycophant for a soon-to-be 80 year old President that is at the very least on the cognitive decline, and potentially has dementia. His hand-picked candidate in Missouri might win the Senate GOP primary. Every other GOP candidate would win by double-digits, but his candidate, given all his baggage, polls by far the worst and money will be wasted on him to push him across the finish line. He went after Doug Ducey in AZ, who was about to enter the AZ Senate race, and his conspiracy theories have made him unelectable in a primary. Mark Kelly has NO BUSINESS winning re-election. But thanks to Trump injecting himself into that race, that’s a seat we won’t win. His hand-picked candidate for Governor in AZ is a conspiracy-spewing Dominion machine truther, and that Governorship, which the Democrats have NO BUSINESS winning, will flip to the Democrats.

When George HW Bush, Dole, McCain, and Romney all lost we told them to f*ck off. Why are we not being consistent? The guy is the weakest candidate we could realistically run in 2024. I‘s time to move on.

I'm with ya damn near 100%. Voted for the dude twice. I think he did some great things. But the baggage ain't worth it.

The AZ GOP is broken. Which is sad, because they should be among the healthiest GOP groups. Same with PA.

That said, seems like many states of both parties have broken. North Dakota's dems (who OWNED ND on a federal level until 2010) nominated a dude who was a shift leader at McDonald's or something like that in '20.

GOP can move forward with a fairly populist coalition if it messages right. I dont know what that message is, that's for political consultants to sort out. But PA and AZ should be locked down in this political environment.

On the Senate level, a standard GOP would pick up 4-5 seats easy in this environment without sweating or spending. Things could end up falling into place and shitty candidates winning (Herschel, Oz, AZ winner), but shit needs to get sorted ASAP. JD Vance is actually a wonderful candidate. If his people knew how to fucking message this would be a decidedly republican seat. Instead, we are gonna have to dump money in there.

Dude had such a good story. Appalachia kid. Druggy mom. Grandparents saved him. Military vet. OSU bachelor degree. Yale law. Thats a stone cold lock in a place like Ohio.

Anyway, rant over. We got work to do, we are gonna lose 2-3 winnable senate races this fall. NH, OH, PA, AZ off the top of my head should be easy W's. AZ GOP bout to learn their lesson hopefully that being insane ain't a winner. Nothing wrong with nominating a guy who has your back 90% if he can win.

I have doubts anything will be done just like the 2 impeachments and the Mueller investigation regardless of what was found.
I posted an article earlier today where the Senate is moving forward a bipartisan bill to shore up the loop holes Trump tried to take advantage of so that is SOMETHING even though it needs 10 GOP Senators to pass ( unlikely it will pass lol).

The reason for the hearings is to publicly show what Trump did and how much of oath breaking piece of shit President he was just the like the two impeachments did. My hope is he goes away into the dustbin of history quietly. Fat chance of that happening though.

I meannif someone had any evidence drop box locations numbers absentee vote process, or any of the other items I listed led to voter fraud them in all for it but none was found and none have been presented or confirmed soooo yeah muhhhh voter ID lmao.

Its quite clear that GOP voting methods are great and Dem voting methods are bad and requiring a voter Id is the only reasonable solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
