Update from Christian at ISD says Presley has stayed in contact with Mickens/Freeman and contact with Freeman has "ramped up" since he's been named head coach. Working on getting a visit set up for January.

I understand why you say that. It depends on how many DBs they plan on taking. Only 5 and you feel real real good about your top 5 committing and staying committed? Be choosy. We could have an epic DB class this year regardless.

Gray besides his ranking, also fits the basic height/speed playbook. Legit 6’0 with probably better length to boot and confirmed 4.4 - 4.5 speed.

ND’s worst position by far in terms of blue chip ratio, 4*’s vs 3*’s is the DB room. Get the first 6 4*’s that will commit to the program. ND can’t be picky. Once they get north of 4-5 dudes they could slow down for a Downs, Muhammad or whatever but ND is not at all in the position to turn away super talented DB’s and Christian Gray is super talented

2023 Washington cornerback Caleb Presley will be back on the road next month and hopes to travel to South Bend.

He’s not a guy that gets talked about much because he’s yet to visit so hard to get invested in the recruitment. But, they are recruiting him pretty hard so we’ll see.
