Honestly the Colts look so terrible on all fronts this game that it's hard not to blame the entire coaching staff.

I mean, as an owner you would have to be absolutely embarrassed and livid. I know as a fan I am.

I have no faith in Frank and Carson going forward. Changes need to be made.

I said the same thing (elsewhere). Fangio is available for DC as well. Those two took the niners to a near SB win. I'd rather see what they can do than hope Reich finally figures out how to coach consistently.

Gotta beat the Titans. I don't think the Titans are that great tbh, I think they just had a favorable schedule.

Not exactly sure how the team with 8th toughest schedule going in to today, including playing the NFC West, the AFC East, the champions from the NFC South, AFC West, and AFC North (Saints, Chiefs, and Steelers) really ended up being favorable for them.

This is strictly on Reich. I said after about five games the Colts were a .500 team. Reich continues to make questionable play calls over and over. He hasn’t been the QB whisperer to Wentz that he’s supposed to be. This is as disappointing of a season that I can remember.

If Ballard doesn’t move on from Frank, he basically is hitching himself to Frank and they’ll go down together. I love some things Ballard has done, but he’s already in a make-or-break year. Keep Frank around only makes that seat hotter.

I’d stick with Reich for another year. I know it’s tempting to call for his head right now though. I’d keep him on a short leash though. He’s had a different starting QB every season he’s been there. I think Wentz would benefit from a new QB coach and another receiver. Pittman isn’t a #1 yet but could be soon and TY got old. Taylor was actually the #2 receiver which isn’t good.

Trying to be level-headed here and not overreact but wow what a shitty end to the season.

I understand they likely have to keep Reich and Wentz for another year but I won't be watching.

Wentz was 14th in QB DVOA. Although he sucked down the stretch, he didn't have a bad enough year to justify moving on.

I'm the rare Philly fan who is rooting for him tho so maybe i'm biased. He certainly plays the game way differently than 2017 in his MVP caliber year. Just is so so much more tentative and indecisive than he used to be. Eagles had a bunch of injuries in 19 and 20 which made him think hero ball was the only way. Thinking this fucked him up mentally and he hasn't been able to overcome it.

They just extended Reich, so I doubt he's going anywhere and the draft capital they gave for Wentz probably means he's back as well. Reich needs to give up play calling for sure. He also needs to be more demanding of his team. How do you have 7 Pro Bowlers and finish basically .500 and miss the playoffs? Wentz definitely needs a QB coach that can fix him. His accuracy yesterday was as bad as it gets.

Lots of speculation that the Colts will cut Wentz by March 8.

As a fan, I hope so. If they don't and FR banks on one more year of CW then it may be the last year for both of them in INDY.

Given that they went with Wentz because Reich pushed for him, I don't think Reich is going to have as much input on this decision. IMO, Ballard will be making this decision unless they make a serious run at Wilson or Rodgers. Then Irsay will be heavily involved.

Unfortunate spot to be in for Indy now that they lost the 1st round pick for him and will eat 15mil if they move on. Don't blame em though, not much about his season to be encouraged by. Indy doesn't have great receiving options, I'll give him that. But even so, he could've done much better with what he had imo. The bigger question to me is who's up next at QB if CW is gone? Jimmy G? I have no idea.

Reading between the lines, it sounds like Irsay has no problem eating the $15M. Not much out there that would be considered an upgrade. Heard Montana this morning. He was asked about Jimmy G and he said he has the support of the locker room and is preferred over Lantz so he may not be available.

I don't think Rodgers is going anywhere. Listening to his press conference after he wont he MVP, it really sounds like he's down to two decisions: going back to GB or retiring. And Wilson made it sound like he wants to stick it out in Seattle as well.

Cut Wentz and do what? Start Ellinger? They don’t have the draft picks to trade for Rodgers and probably not Wilson. Jimmy G? Is he really better than Wentz? Say you land one of these QBs, who are they throwing to other than Pittman, who is really a #2 at best? TY is likely gone. JT was their second leading receiver. Doyle is a better blocker than receiver and he’s old. I honestly think WR is a bigger issue than Wentz. Unless there is a master plan in place to get a stud QB, I think you gotta bring Wentz back for next year and get him some guys to throw to.

Your first two sentences might be the plan. Tank this year and start over with a top qb prospect.

I really wish Indy never gave up assets to acquire Carson in the first place. But if they know he isn't the guy don't waste another year. Now they get to find a new starting QB for the 5th(?) year in a row. Big yikes.

I get an icky feeling they will trade for Jimmy G. With QB you have to swing for fences or strikeout. Don't make the same Wentz mistake by trading draft capitol. Jimmy G might ultimately get dropped anyway.

The Wentz trade was a huge gamble that failed spectacularly. They need to get a proven QB or go hunting in the draft.
