Colts pick up Matt Ryan for a third round pick. I like this. Gives the Colts a chance to find their next QB in the draft (probably next year), yet remain competitive. Ryan has typically been one of the better QB's in the league. Stats were down last year, but the Falcons had no run game and their O-line was one of the worst in the league.

Probably the best move they could have made. He’s an upgrade over CW even if he’s not what he used to be. Hope they can get another WR for him to throw to.

He’s the guy for the next two years. 10th highest paid is about where he should be. I do t love it, I don’t hate it.

Say what now? 7 m roster bonuses and 23m and 28m base salaries in 22 and 23. That’s nowhere near a shitload. That’s very reasonable. What an absolute steal for the colts at the cost of only a 3rd.

Yes, that's a different story. And not bad. The report I read was that he was still owed 80 million over next 2 years.

This stinks, I had banked on the Colts taking Jimmy G for a couple decent picks.

Matty Ice has been a consistently top of the line QB for his entire career. He stays healthy and has the potential to lead teams to the big one.

Would love to see some assurances made at WR and for the line to stay healthy this year. If we can do that, we should look pretty dangerous.

And perfect timing because the wife and I just bought a tailgate spot across the street from the stadium (her parents have season tickets) so I want this to be a worthwhile investment!

“Beau Ice” jersey already on order!

He’s still got a strong arm and there isn’t much a D can throw at him that he hasn’t seen. As already mentioned he’s durable. Perfect QB for transitioning.

I'm gonna be absolutely baffled if Frank Reich still has his job by the end of the year. Team is never ready to play at the beginning of the season and can't even be bothered to look interested against division opponents.

He should have been shown the door after last season. Today was totally inexcusable as was last week. They got out coached and out hustled. No fire in the team and that’s on Reich.

Going to be a long, frustrating football season in the state of Indiana.
Had this exact thought yesterday when getting home and checking ESPN for the Colts score. I'm not sure who in the front office thought it was a good idea to add an aging QB while not adding anyone that can contribute to the WR lineup. Not sure where we go from here but I don't think Frank will last the rest of the season!

I think Jimmy will let him ride out the season unless we get halfway through the season and still winless. I think Ballard gets one more year.

I’m not sure Ryan is the problem. The OL is trash, literally do not have a left tackle, and literally don’t have any pro-level WRs. I can’t hold Ryan accountable for things with that backdrop.

Not sure what was more pathetic. Frank Reich or watching the Indy Indians give up 5 in the first without the bat touching a ball.

5 runs without a batter ball??? The whole team needs shown the door!

I haven’t been able to see a Colts game just some quick high lights and I will keep my team gear in the closet this season!

True story. I was sitting behind the dish.

I literally grew up on a diamond. Never even heard of dumb shit like Reich, I mean that.

3 HBP and 6 walks. The ball wasn’t even put in play and the top was up again…

You are a fortunate soul my friend. I was grouting the tile in our bathroom and had the TV on in the bedroom so I could listen. Not once did I feel the need to go catch even a glimpse.

So at this point with the division basically already being lost you have to consider moving on from frank don’t you? I don’t think Ballards job is safe either

Reich has to go. This team is the biggest disappointment in the NFL.
