Never anticipated any Batman adaptation even being in the same stratosphere as the Nolan trilogy but here we are. Wow absolutely blown away by how good that was. Zoe Kravitz is the perfect actress to portray Catwoman. She nailed it. Made Anne Hathaway's blah white toast ass look like a joke in comparison.

Peaky Blinders season 6 FINALLY started after 2 1/2 years since the last season ended. Covid put a lot of shows on the back burner. The first two episodes are out. The actress who played Polly passed away last year after filming a few bits for this season, so her death on the show is explained and she appears in a few scenes a la flashbacks or "advice from the grave" type things. So far the plot seems murky and convoluted as always. Definitely good, though, and I'm glad to see the show back finally.

Wasn't sure who Julia Jones was until I googled her pic. They are very similar, but Kelsey gets my vote.

Did you ever get around to watching 14 Peaks?
OK, you inspired me to just dig in and watch it completely after I got home from work tonight. Absolutely amazing story. Really beautiful documentary with great scenery and a very inspiring story. I can't imagine doing what he did in such a short period of time. He's a very driven, tough dude. His wife is also seriously beautiful. If you think about the risks and how many people die doing just one of those mountains, it's amazing that he survived all 14. I wouldn't have thought, before it all started, that his chances were better than 40% to survive the entire thing. Anyway, thanks for reminding me about this and it was well worth staying up late to watch.

Awesome! Glad you liked it. I’m batting 1.000 recommending it to people. Yeah his wife was a babe. Story is incredible. I watch a lot of climbing docs and it’s crazy to see him climb something like it’s a jog in the park when I’ve seen whole teams try and climb some of these on months long expeditions and fail.

The most compelling thing to me is what he said right near the end after he accomplished his goal. If he had been a western climber that achievement would have been world news.

Watched another episode of the Montana documentary.

49'ers are on the road. Montana is talking to QB coach Paul Hackett up in the booth. They finish and Montana picks the phone back up, dials "9" and is surprised to get a dial tone! He ends up calling his wife at home and talking to her during the game. lol

The Last Kingdom on Netflix. Fifth and final season.
The Last Kingdom is fantastic. Will hopefully start it soon.
As good as it is, the books are even better and I highly recommended anybody into the show reading the books.
