Southampton and Newcastle are playing quite well since their respective ownership changes. It would appear that Newcastle will avoid relegation, which only would have delayed the inevitable. Even with the new players, it comes down to how they're being managed and organized by Howe in a proper fashion for the Premier League.

Liverpool will draw Chelsea away today in the FA Cup. Book it.

Really horrifying stuff out of Liga MX. 17 fans killed in brawls in the stadium by other fans at the Atlas Quetaro match. Not gonna share the videos but plenty floating around

That sounds less than ideal. God bless the deceased and their families.

Manchester United are in complete shambles. I don't know who in their right mind would want to talk into that situation right now.

They need to hire a director of football who can hire a competent manager that can then sort out who stays and who goes. The majority of these guys need sold and replaced. The managers don't seem to be the issue. The players are. Mourinho may have been right about them after all. Get Sir Alex out of the mix. Give him some ambassador title but apart from that he should be be hanging around lingering near decision makers.

Start with Harry Maguire. Admit you were wrong and call it a day. He's average. Belongs playing for Brighton or Crystal Palace. Sell him for whatever you can get.

Apart from that, I intend to enjoy every moment of it after having endured decades of shit from United supporters.

As a United fan, can confirm. Sounds like it's Poch, but I think Ten Hag would be a better fit. Ajax is run like a machine and I'd love to see that kind of continuity at United.

It'll be interesting to see when a new manager is named who is on teh chopping block. I think you have to get rid of De Gea or Henderson, Maguire should leave, Fred, McTominay, Pogba, all gone. Keep Rashford, Bruno (hate how often he dives but he makes plays when he isn't on the ground), Sancho, and I think you have to keep Ronaldo just because.

It'll be a trainwreck for a few years.

Everton are going to get relegated with Frank Lampard as their manager.

These are the times.

If I'm Ten Hag, I'm not going to United for a rebuild without some serious assurances.

Buying Ronaldo was one of the most decisions they could have possibly made. They did it to sell shirts and with the possibility that City MIGHT have wanted him. They needed quality in the midfield so badly. It didn't make sense.

Absolutely. With how many misses they had recently, they could have gotten Rice or Ndidi, hell, both of them if you sold a few other guys. It would have completely transformed the team.

Also, caught parts of the Liverpool game this past weekend. Luis Diaz is a baller.

Right. Rice, Neves, Ndidi, Kalvin Phillips. They should have gone for two midfielders. They'd be in better position than they are now though I don't think they'd be title contenders. The back four needs sorted out. That starts with getting rid of Maguire. He's just poor.

Good news is Spurs just smashed Everton, which means they'll go full Spurs and lose to United.

Diaz looks like he's been playing in England for ten years. Absolutely a Klopp player. Remarkable.

Liverpool have won more away matches in Milan this season than Everton have in England.

I thought the recent reports were that nobody died, is that the case?

Unclear. The videos and pictures of aftermath, along with first hand accounts would indicate that there was some loss of life. The official claim is there was none. I did read that if there was loss of life, it would likely have resulted in the whole federation being sanctioned and severe penalties for the entire league and national team. Either way, not good.

Another year, another PSG team knocked out of the Champions League. In terms of dissapointment to fans, they might be worse than Man United.

With the new sanctions, Chelsea will be back to bottom feeders in no time. Looking forward to Pulisic moving to a new side.

Remember this past weekend during a moment of solidarity for Ukraine the Chelsea fans chanted Roman Ambramovich's name? Can't wait to see what John Terry tweets today.

I've fully despised Chelsea for twenty years. This is completely fine with me.

Tuchel to PSG and Pochettino to Man United?

Liverpool should bid $5M for Reece James. Trent Alexander Arnold could use a back up.
