Yes, because he's from Alabama, I am surprised that Alabama hasn't offered. When it comes down to it, most of the time I think Saban gets what Saban wants.
So because he's from Alabama and we're saying Saban gets what Saban wants we think Saban will strike out on 7 other offers and circle back to steal Vizz because of his immense state pride. Got it.

Flipped. To use the recent 247 article, folks are using Josh Allen as Vizzina’s comp and one of the 247 guys used Mac Jones as Moore’s.
I don’t agree with the Mac Jones comparison. He is immobile. Dante can get out of the pocket and throw on the run and if he needs to run he is more then athletic to run for a first.

Vizzinas I agree with

I agree with that and I’d say the 247 guy who made the comp would as well. The comparison was more that he is a clean high floor passer and plays within himself and limits mistakes.

Gotcha then ya I would agree with his IQ of the game cause he feels pressure really well.

So let me get the comps here.
Moore is a Deshaun Watson type quarterback (accurate, decent arm, can move when he has to) and Vizz is Josh Allen?
Yes please

No, I don't think Dante has shown he's anywhere like a Watson level athlete.

I dont see the Allen comp. Allen has a cannon. Moore has a bigger arm than Vizina from everything I've seen.

Correct moore has the bigger arm than Vizzina but I think the comp with Vizzina to Allen is because he is big and he moves well. And maybe he can develop like Allen did in college and get a bigger arm. Moore is more accurate and a bigger arm.

I think a good comp for moore would be Bryce young. He stays in the pocket and is a precision thrower and feels the pocket really well. And when he has to get out of the pocket he can easily get you a first down.

So, Vizzina is a dago and his comp is Josh Allen? Sounds like my perfect prospect.

Exactly. Was just about to post that the Moore comp is to Bryce Young.

I’ve felt the QB recruiting narrative to be a little inconsistent but I’ll be excited if the news on Moore turns out to be right. However, this feels like a situation where Moore’s camp is saying all the right things to keep ND on the line but they aren’t actually changing the recruitment. He still plans to take several visits between now and his commitment. If Vizzina is ready to commit right now or on his March visit, I don’t see how you wait for Moore to take all those visits.

While Loy has clearly found it difficult to keep the narrative straight, trying to thread the needle on QB recruiting. He did say a week or two ago that Moore gets first right of refusal. Apparently they’ve been telling him since the beginning that if someone were to want to commit, like Vizzina, they’d give Moore the chance to take the spot. So, on one hand we’re recruiting all equally but you can’t really say you’re recruiting all equally if all can’t commit in the spot.

Sounds like this is heading in a good direction but at the end of the day no one from ISD or 247 has actually Crystal Balled/predicted Moore to ND and Michigan staffers still feel great about their position. So I'm guarding my heart.

I mean at this point vizzina will be here in a week and Dante still has a southern visit swing to complete.

Do we really think that Dante's cancelling all that and shutting down shop Saturday if Vizzina wants in?

I think it's far more likely Vizzina pops and we call it a wrap.

That seems highly realistic. ISD articles on Moore have been weird. Like 2 updates saying Moore is really narrowed down and knows the importance of committing early, but then oh yeah, he's about to take a ton of 1st time visits..

I think the issue is that he's taking a bunch of quick visits in rapid succession. I think I heard it's something like 4 schools in 5 days.

I don't see them being majorly impactful.

I agree with this, I don’t think these are meaningful visits that will affect his decision. I know it’s a group visit tour, but the fact it’s a Florida school swing and he’s not seeing Miami when they’re a supposed top team tells us all we need to know.

It just seems way too risky to not take a commitment from Vizzina if he wants in. Seriously would be a tough spot to be in

Yeah the visit thing Moore wouldn’t even confirm either. It’s a group tour that includes UCF and Georgia Tech. When he spoke to Trieu for 247, he didn’t even commit to the tour being locked in.

The ISD article from last week had quotes about them finally having time to make long distance visits due to the nature of booking hotels, making sure right coaches are available, etc. It didn't sound like a regional swing by.

The reported FSU and UF visits were both part of the “ Football Hotbed Tour” from March 18 -22. It also includes Alabama, Georgia, Georgia Tech, and UCF. So 6 schools possibly in 4 days. Neither FSU or UF reporters actually spoke to Moore though, rather it sounded like they got essentially a attendee list of the tour.

Moore then said nothing is official and his coach said everyone is pulling him to visit but he’s got nothing confirmed.

IMO and from what Trieu said, it sounds like he’s got some struggle in him to shut it down soon (probably good for us) versus make some stops.

Ultimately it doesn't seem like anyone really knows but the Moore's.

We'll likely know all results by end of March.

One of Vizzina's visit timing, or the somewhat unsolicited talks without concrete info on ND/Moore, was intentional to force decisions it seems.

QB1b on campus just weeks/days before a rumored/unconfirmed 6 school swing for QB1a.

The initial Moore talk of positivity never really was followed by "predictions" and now ones coming on campus sooner.

I'm laying my chips on Vizzinia.

Unless we hear about Vizzina cancelling his visit before the weekend, I'm going to bet on him being the QB in this class for us as well. Honestly, the way last year went, I just want one in the fold sooner than later. I like both of them well enough that I wouldn't be mad with either one of them committing.
