Welcome Sedrick! Nice early get from Taylor. I think RB is at a very enviable position at the present.

Diggs seems like the real deal, Estime is a load, and Price might be one of my favorite backs of the Kelly era. So, adding a guy like Sedrick is a nice piece to the depth chart. And, leaves him open to pursue either unique skillsets or go big game hunting for an elite guy.

If Sedrick can play like Theo (without the 6th gear), I'd be incredibly happy. He looks quick in his cuts/acceleration. Happy to have him on board.

I keep seeing people who break down film saying he is a lot like Kyren Willians at the same age.
A remember a lot of people saying Willians was slow, short, not a RB but a converted receiver…
Its not always about speed. He is shifty, smart & can catch the ball. Who does that remind you of?
And it wasn’t Miami, FSU, Florida that weren’t interested in him, it is the other way around. Kid goes to one of the best (and most expensive) HS in the country & Stanford was who ND was battling. Kid actually has academics as his top priority.

He had no interest in Miami, Florida, or Florida State. He wasn't interested in playing football in the south.

I think he's a solid RB recruit. I think 247 has him properly rated/ranked as a low 4 star guy. Certainly somebody worth having on the depth chart. With how good Diggs has looked and my views on Price, he might find it hard to get early PT. But, I'm not going to turn away a 4 star RB from coming on board. I think it's a great early get as it allows Taylor to get creative with his recruiting. Both in the '22 and '23 classes.
24/7 Sports has him ranked too low IMO. They dicked him on his 40 time. I was there that day.

Prister not super high on him. 4.89 Forty

"For a player listed at 5-foot-10, which likely means he’s shorter, his knee bend can be limited and his pad level is higher than it needs to be for a smaller back. He does not have a consistent inclination to play a physical brand of football"

Congrats to the young man. I'm sure he will only get better, also allows us to chase some bigger fish.
LOL, HE is most def faster than a 4.89. He ran the 40 twice that day. The 1st attempted the clock started to late and he was clocked at a 4.3. The 2nd attempted he was clocked at a 4.89 because the clock started to early. They ask him to ran it again and he simply told them no. Sedrick 40 time is around a 4.6. He not a burner but he has nice football speed. He def will be faster by the time he make it to ND.

" Does not have consistent inclination to play a physical brand of football" LOL
Me watching a couple of Gulliver games and just being around a few of their practices. This Irvin Kid is a gym rat and a workout warrior. Tough as nails. He played with a broken hand for about 8 games this season.

Sounds like you’re in the know with this kid. Thanks for the info! ND nation is happy to have Irvin in the fold. We can’t wait to see what he can do for the Irish

Welcome to IE. Stay awhile.

And I agree with the 40 time. I knew that anything less than a 4.7 was criminal. It's obvious he is faster than that on film. I figured the track was less than optimal where he ran, or he was tight from a workout the day before, etc. Regardless, I love the kid and everything I read regarding him. Not to mention he comes from elite stock. Thanks for the insights and again I hope you continue to post any more you have throughout the season.

Anytime, Notre Dame got a great one. Irvin would of been ranked higher but he didn't get alot of carries at Gulliver and the OL was beyond bad. QB and QB dad politics during the entire season at Gulliver which took away alot of Irvin carries. I expect Irvin to be the best back in Florida this upcoming season. Especially with how good Columbus OLine is.

I wouldn't say Close but I see him at the gym all the time working with his trainer and speed coach. We often joke and laugh sometimes. Chop it up from time to time. Also I follow Florida football alot.
Always love the insight into FL football. Any thoughts on other ND recruits or targets? Curious on Jalen Brown since you seem to know your Gulliver info

Jalen is a nice deep threat/return guy. Reminds me a lot of Bernard Berrian of the Bears from years ago. I think he ends up at UM, which is a great thing for ND. I think 24/7, rivals and etc has him ranked wayyyy to high.

Padrons are an excellent choice
Padrons ARE an excellent choice,
but I am glad that Tweed answered Perdomo.......

"De gustibus non est disputandum"

Of course, there was the day I spent $45 at the Windsor Ballet for a Davidoff Churchill (when Davidoff was still rollin' them in Havana)

Worth every cent of it.

But I am shocked, SHOCKED at the quality of cigar you can buy in America today for $8-$10 dollars.

I had a kid who could do this. Currently a freshman. He is a freak who will most likely play D1 ball if he cares enough. Way to go Amarrii.

Always crazy to think there might be junior high kids out there able to kick my ass.
