Is he this year's Allar? Late riser that gains steam throughout the spring

Perhaps. Wasn't this guy pretty highly rated already?

Allar was basically called not only the best at his position but one of THE best overall. I thought it was a bit too much hype.

The services won’t admit it until years later but just like the NFL Draft does, there are down years in QB recruiting talent and 2022 (and Allar by extension) was one IMO. I think at least 5 2023 QBs (which is an exceedingly strong class) are better than any 2022 QB. To poke a hole in my own point, that could be in part impacted by COVID.

There would be some poetic justice that a kid from Alabama is the QB to win at all at ND vs Bama.

I’m all in on Vizzina. I’d just recruit both like it’s even and take the first one that wants in. Provided one eventually does

Yep. He is this generation's Philip Rivers. We cannot leave him behind enemy lines like we did Ol' Man Rivers.

After reading up on II, this could get interesting. Nothing specific/concrete was said, but I wonder if pressure/dominoes could start forcing hands.

Is Clemson fading away here or do they like another QB more?

Why is Bama not more in on Vizzina? Or really any of the big time SEC programs?

A&M and Bama are the only big SEC schools he doesn’t have an offer from, and A&M has a QB committed. Everyone else is after him.

He appears to have just gotten Florida and Georgia offers in the last week.
But I guess what I'm really asking is why does a top 10 QB from Birmingham who in this thread has been compared to Peyton Manning and Josh Allen not have a Bama offer? And if he commits to ND and then they come in with a late offer are we screwed?

Still in the thick of it for Arch and Nico who are even better. I don’t know why Georgia just decided to offer but have to factor in LSU, UF, Ole Miss all went through coaching changes and he got offered by the new staffs.

They haven't offered a 3rd QB (yet).

Alabama is one of the final two schools to land Arch Manning.

Also, if Manning picks Texas, they're in very good shape to land Iamaleava.

I don’t think those have been posted. The first is approx 1 year old and the second is from May of 2021, so also reasonably dated. Notably on the second, he’s working with QB Country who is the same group that Pyne worked with.

The weekend of March 4th is what it sounds like is likely for a next visit though it isn’t locked in, per everyone. Doesn’t need to be the 18th but kinda wish it was later.

I hope he commits. I think hes a great player. Very very low bust potential.

Watch Christian commit and everyone on the board be pissed that we landed a consensus top 7 qb

I slightly prefer Moore just because of the Michigan meltdown that would ensue. But as prospects, there isn't a wrong choice.
